Je recommande ce restaurant. Super ambiance & les papilles gustatives sont amplement satisfaites. Nous sommes allés célébrer l'anniversaire de mon conjoint. Nghi notre serveur était super. Même chose pour Justin le barman. On y va quelques fois par année & toujours satisfait 🤩

If I could give more than five stars I would definitely do it! The food was fantastic amazing service ISABELLE was the the best! It's refreshing to see a restaurant that really cares about its clients & it's Food. I will definitely go back & recommend this restaurant to anybody that loves Mexican food & especially margaritas.!

Amazing night out with my daughters. Louise was a total gem. Helped us with our order & made sure our evening was perfect. Margaritas were delicious. & gyoza nachos were 10/10 …no notes. Highly recommend this spot for great food & great vibes.

One of the best Mexican restaurants I've visited!Everything was delicious,from the appetizers to the main dishes.Izabelle went above & beyond to make sure we had a great experience.Her friendly attitude & excellent customer service made our visit memorable.Highly recommended!:)

Première visite au restaurant Escondite de Laval pour l'anniversaire de ma fille.
La nourriture était excellente & l'ambiance très agréable, ce qui rend la situation encore plus regrettable.
Comme nous ne connaissions pas le menu, la serveuse nous a expliqué les choix & nous a recommandé le menu « Expérience Escondite pour partager » à 45 $. Avant d'accepter, nous lui avons demandé clairement si ce repas était suffisant pour deux personnes, & elle nous a répondu que oui.
Nous avons donc pris cette décision en nous fiant à cette recommandation & à cette confirmation.
Toutefois, au moment de recevoir l'addition, deux menus à 45 $ chacun ont été facturés. J'ai mentionné la situation sur place, mais aucune correction n'a été possible.
Afin de ne pas gâcher l'anniversaire de ma fille, j'ai payé l'addition, mais cette situation a été frustrante.
Suite à un échange avec la direction, le propriétaire a admis que le menu « à partager » est trompeur & qu'il y a eu un manque de clarté de la part de la serveuse.
Malgré cela, aucun remboursement n'a été accordé, seulement une invitation à revenir, que j'ai déclinée.
Une erreur reconnue devrait être corrigée immédiatement, pas reportée à une prochaine visite.
Expérience très décevante.

L'ambiance est très bonne, j'ai essayé différents tacos, c'est bon. Le service était un peu long & manque de générosité dans les plats pour le prix des tacos. Je le recommande

Another impromptu date night, & a great success. We decided to go out pretty late in the evening, so made the reservation on the Google page for 8:30p.m.
Upon arrival, seated quickly, & this time we asked to be further away from the entrance, which was perfect.
Food was delicious as always, chapifleur was amazing 👏🏻 🤩
& our server was such a delight 😊.
Thank you Meggie! We really enjoyed our night & you were attentive enough without being annoying. Highly recommend this location, loved our visit! 🥰🥰

OLDER REVIEW FROM 2024
We chose Escondite for our date as we have come here before & we really enjoyed the food.
The service was a little slow & our waitress seemed uninterested, but to be fair the restaurant was full. So no problem with lack of attention.
I found it weird that the tables were super sticky, & it kinda grossed me out, so i avoided putting my hands or arms on it, or my utensils. Maybe something to look into?

The staff seemed to have some issues going on, & while I didn't hear what specifically, but it was clear that they were not happy with each other. The hostess seemed stressed the entire time we were there. 🤷🏻?♀?
Being on a romantic date, but seated right in front of the main entrance, & in the middle of the full restaurant already kind of put a dent in my mood, but to watch stressed people around me was just unpleasant.
The food was excellent as usual, with the exception of the Jamaican ceviche, it just doesnt work together in my opinion. The rest was excellent as always!
Overall, we still enjoyed our evening & would be back in a heartbeat...... maybe just not on a busy friday night though! 😂
