I ordered on uber eats some birria tacos with some sides. Not only did i not receive the tacos, not only were the tacos not on the receipt, they put a 17$ « delivery charge » on the order. What a shame, feels like i got scammed. Definitely never ordering anything there ever again. Uber eats wont do anything about it
J'ai commandé sur UberEats & le restaurant a mal poinsonné ma commande & je n'ai jamais reçu les tacos qui étaient dans ma commande. J'ai l'impression que le restaurant prend l'argent relié à la commande & se lave les mains en nous envoyant une commande erronée. Je ne commande plus à ce restaurant.
Service was good but the food was below average, the first bite of guacamole was good but then then rest tasted like unseasoned avocado. We ordered a few plates of tacos but they were not very good. The atmosphere was ok, nothing to be thrilled about & only one bathroom to deal with. I had to wait in a line up to simply go wash up.
If like Mexican food you should their various dishes there. Their tacos are fantastic
. Particularly like their Camaro e's Y Queso & Acapulco Ceviche. The chicken wings are also good.

4 tacos for 30$ before taxes is pretty darn wild if you ask me. The tacos were decent & the mango salad is a complete joke, we had bits of skin attached to it & the mangos were nowhere near ripe. Thankfully the waitress was understanding for the whole mango salad situation but for those in the kitchen making the food, get your eyes checked because id refuse to offer an overwhelmingly unripe mango salad.
The service was good, the place looked nice. The food had no taste. There weren't many options on the menu. So you would think that what was available would be good. The presentation of the good was nice but it was mostly tasteless. We tried different types of tacos & none of then were noteworthy. The chicken in the taco was tough & chewy. You might think, this is a bar so maybe the drinks are better than the food. But that wasn't the case either. All in all, good staff & atmosphere. But the food & drinks were lackluster.
La bouffe n'a pas de goût. Manque d'assaisonnement. J'ai pris des tacos crevettes & c'était super graisseux. Soupe d'haricot ça ne goûtait pas les haricots. Dispendieux pour ce qu'il y a dans l'assiette. Petite portion.
I always enjoy my food at escondite, I actually found this place on a food show watching the food network & was happy to try it out. I love their korean steak tacos they are my favourite thing on the menu, I cannot go to this place without ordering them some times im guilty of ordering them twice! I also really enjoy their mango salad & i love their Micheladas they are not a common thing in montreal so im always happy to enjoy one at their restaurant. The service was a bit slow but the food made up for it.

Beau petit restaurant Mexican à laval. Leur menu version tapas donne de bonne portion. Qualité prix 6etoile!! À essayer leur tacos au steak, berria, & au poisson!! Juste trop bon!
Nourriture bonne malgré le service très ordinaire, ils sont venus nous voir 3 fois au début pour nous répéter qu'il y avait eu un manque de communication en cuisine & que c'est pour cette raison que je c'était long. Nous avons attendu 30 minutes avant d'avoir notre première assiette à partir de quand nous avons commandé. De plus, nous avons prit le menu dégustation & avions une seule demande, pas le tacos poulet frit & c'est celui qui est arrivé dans notre assiette parmi tout les choix de tacos. Nous avons attendu 45 minutes pour la facture pour qu'une autre serveuse vienne nous la porter elle même en nous disant que nous avions été oublié.
Nous étions allé à celui a repentigny avant & allons définitivement retourner à ce dernier car pour le même prix nous avons eu des portions plus généreuses dont un dessert 3x plus gros & un plat de tacos de plus qu'à celui à laval ainsi qu'un meilleur service.
Great menu, awesome service, very cordial servers, & all were helping each other out. The food was fantastic, especially the beef tacos & the guacamole dip.
I have mixed feelings about this place. On one hand, the food was absolutely delicious, some of the best tacos I've ever had, to be honest. The Korean-style & al pastor tacos were incredible & full of flavor, easily the highlight of my visit. The ambiance is cozy & inviting, with warm lighting that sets a relaxed mood. Plus, the staff are super friendly & make you feel welcome. On the other hand, the portions are a real letdown. As a Latino, I have to say that Mexican food is meant to be generous, & for the price you pay here, the serving size is disappointing. I get that it's their business model, but for the price, I'd much rather pay more for a proper portion. Overall, while the taste & quality are undeniably great, the value for money just isn't there. I'd recommend it as a one time experience or for a special occasion, but if you're looking for a satisfying meal that feels worth the price, there are better options out there.
