Food was excellent! The staff was amazing, & the drinks were spicy. I think they may be short?staffed, as the service was a little slow. However, the atmosphere, along with the staff's enthusiasm & great attention, made the wait completely tolerable.

Excellent moment chez Escondite ! Le service était impeccable, un immense merci à notre serveuse Isabelle qui a été absolument formidable : souriante, attentionnée & très professionnelle. Ses recommandations pour les drinks étaient parfaites ! La nourriture était très bonne & nous avons passé une super soirée. Je recommande sans hésiter !

Really enjoyed our experience here! The atmosphere is fun & colorful great vibe for a night out. We went with the Chef's Choice plate, which was a 4-course tapas-style meal plus dessert for $45, & it was definitely worth it. Drinks are delicious too !

The food was good overall. It was fun not knowing exactly what was coming next, & everything felt thoughtfully prepared.

Service was friendly, & the space itself is beautifully decorated. Would definitely recommend. We'd come back to try other dishes!

Je suis allé à ce restaurant une première fois pour prendre un drink. Puis, j'y suis retourné deux fois pour manger. Toutes les fois, l'ambiance était agréable, le service adéquat & la bouffe excellente. Un resto mexicain différent qui s'est adapté à la cuisine d'ici. Bref, j'adore. Merci Salma pour l'excellent service!

Mise à jour: la dernière visite... ambiance correcte, service pas terrible (ex: tu me laisses ma vieille assiette souillée de l'entrée pour mon repas qui arrive) & drink... ouf... vraiment pas bon. La bouffe était très bonne. Note ajustée à la baisse, malheureusement.

The service was good, the place looked nice. The food had no taste. There weren't many options on the menu. So you would think that what was available would be good. The presentation of the good was nice but it was mostly tasteless. We tried different types of tacos & none of then were noteworthy. The chicken in the taco was tough & chewy. You might think, this is a bar so maybe the drinks are better than the food. But that wasn't the case either. All in all, good staff & atmosphere. But the food & drinks were lackluster.

A+ for the staff ( Sanma & Max)- polite, knowledgeable, attentive, fun
A+ for Ronnie the owner - sat down with us, spoke about his passion for life & his business ( people like this restore your faith in humanity
A+ for the food & drinks - fresh ingredients, well balanced flavors & textures ( every bite was, omg i can't eat anymore, but I need to try it) - the Fuego Margarita was awesome ( i had to have 2)
A+ cute place to just enjoy your friends & or family, with very good food
A+ price is extremely reasonable for what you get.
Will definitely be back & will encourage others to try it out.
(I had the shareable sampler with my friends... a lot of food... had to take some home)

My new favourite spot! Love the Food, the Drinks were amazing, & the service provided by Meggie was impeccable. Definitely will be going back! Haven't had a full on perfect experience like that in a very long time!
