Excellent accueil de Salma, une vraie mexicaine dynamique & attentive. Elle a beaucoup d'entregent. Pour notre anniversaire de mariage, on a eu droit un dessert offert par votre maison. L'entrée avec la guacamole, c'est vraiment exquis & c'est frais. Bonne portion. Un endroit parfait pour être entre les amis ou les groupes, mais pour un souper en amoureux, c'est plus ou moins. Je vois cela un style de repas adapté pour une jeune clientèle. Les tables sont trop collées, c'est tannant. Beau décor. Endroit bruyant toutefois. Merci.

Excellent Mexican fusion restaurant! Their tacos are delicious - make sure to try the Baja, Pollos Hermanos & Al Pastor ones. The mango salad & the el general chapo dishes are equally good!

I recently visited Escondite Restaurant in Laval & had a fantastic experience. The ambiance is cozy & inviting, making it perfect for a relaxed meal. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. On our visit, which was a Tuesday, we enjoyed the buy-one-get-one-free margarita special, & they were fantastic-just like the photos suggest! Overall, Escondite offers great food, a pleasant atmosphere, & excellent value for money. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a wonderful meal in Laval.

L'expérience escondite, tout était très bon, nous avons mangé plus qu'à notre faim, les employés étaient super. Le resto étant assez petit c'est pas long que ça devient bruyant mais pas désagréable pour autant.

La place est nice , la nourriture est bien, le service est moyen. On a donne 15% de tip (avant taxes) & la serveuse est venu me dire c'est pas assez donne moi 2$ de plus. Jamais je retournerais a cette place. La serveuse qui a travailler le midi du 27 aout 2024 a ruiner le tout.

Not my first time eating at an escondite restaurant but this was my first time in Laval & i was not dissapointed. Great food & nice atmosphere. My server Sara was very nice & made some good suggestions when i was trying to decide on something new to try. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere is nice, the presentation is very good, the service was ok waitress was a little stressed; but I feel like it's a place to go for drinks because the portions are really small in relation to the prices... we paid a bill of $110 for two dishes & two beers but I even thought that we should have eaten before coming 😂😂😂 because you leave with the feeling that you missed out on something.

We chose Escondite for our date as we have come here before & we really enjoyed the food. The service was a little slow & our waitress seemed uninterested, but to be fair the restaurant was full. So no problem with lack of attention. I found it weird that the tables were super sticky, & it kinda grossed me out, so i avoided putting my hands or arms on it, or my utensils. Maybe something to look into? The staff seemed to have some issues going on, & while I didn't hear what specifically, but it was clear that they were not happy with each other. The hostess seemed stressed the entire time we were there. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Being on a romantic date, but seated right in front of the main entrance, & in the middle of the full restaurant already kind of put a dent in my mood, but to watch stressed people around me was just unpleasant. The food was excellent as usual, with the exception of the Jamaican ceviche, it just doesnt work together in my opinion. The rest was excellent as always! Overall, we still enjoyed our evening & would be back in a heartbeat...... maybe just not on a busy friday night though! 😂

There is such a thing as "too much fusion" ... Not every dish & drink on the menu needs to be fusion cooking. Also, 10$ for a draft beer or 15 for a mojito is insulting. The food was okayish, but for the price, I was expecting much, much better. The server was adorable, & the back terrasse could use some music to cover the car noises...
