I recently visited Escondite Restaurant in Laval & had a fantastic experience. The ambiance is cozy & inviting, making it perfect for a relaxed meal. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. On our visit, which was a Tuesday, we enjoyed the buy-one-get-one-free margarita special, & they were fantastic-just like the photos suggest! Overall, Escondite offers great food, a pleasant atmosphere, & excellent value for money. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a wonderful meal in Laval.
Not my first time eating at an escondite restaurant but this was my first time in Laval & i was not dissapointed. Great food & nice atmosphere. My server Sara was very nice & made some good suggestions when i was trying to decide on something new to try. Highly recommend.

Solo business traveller coming for a weeknight dinner. Well positioned across from the Hilton hotel. Tacos & cocktails are unique & have great presentation. Staff was fast & friendly. Would recommend for a casual meal alone or with a group.
The food was very good, but way too expensive for very small portions. We spent $90 (2 people, 1 drink each), & we left still hungry. That isn't normal. Only once we were sitting at the table were we told that it's a "tapas theme" restaurant. Their website doesn't mention this. If it was, we would not have made reservations there. That feels sneaky on the restaurant's part. The ambiance & service were great. I would give this place a higher rating if it weren't for the unreasonably expensive prices for such small portions. I'd recommend this place for drinks & a snack, but not for an actual meal.

Very disappointing experience; we ordered the Escondite experience. Regardless of whether the price is worth it or not (which personally I think it s overpriced for what we got), the food taste was less then average. We got a cucumber salad (not impressed at all with the taste) a guacamole (maybe the only minidish that we could finish), 4 small tacos (pork & beef very dry) & ribs which was average. Seeing the stars given by other people who actually ate there; I am very surprised & disappointed. The staff did not even distinguish which platters were the shared ones & we had to guess. My personal opinion: i do not recommend this Mexican place neither for the food nor the ambiance (we had to cut our dinner short because of the 1hr30min service which you might want to consider if you are reuniting with friends & don't want to be rushed!)

Je vous le recommande, sans hésiter. Vraiment bonne bouffe, coup de coeur pour la salade de mangue, & les tacos de morue
We had a great experience at Escondite Laval! We were a group of 20 people & everyone was happy with the service & quality of food. The staff & manager were very attentive & accommodating! The group menu was also reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend if you're looking to celebrate a birthday or any occasion!
Decent mexican cuisine in a very cozy restaurant. The waiters are very helpful & friendly. The vibe is fun & the margaritas are on point. I recommend this place for a friends' outing.

La nourriture est assez bonne. Je ne recommande pas "L'expérience escondite" à partager qui coûte 40$ par personne,parce que est trop cher pour la quantité servie!La quantité est pour une personne,mais n'importe pas le nombre des personnes,vous êtes chargé 40$ chaque & la quantité reste pareil.Dans touts les restaurants où j'ai mangé,l'assiete à partager a un prix fix.L'alcool cher aussi!
I went to eat here for lunch today for the first time. Thé service was excellent, the waitress recommended a few plates which were all really good. Service was fast & waitress answered all my questions concerning my food allergies. Will be coming back at night with friends.

We had a craving for Mexican food & Escondite didn't disappoint! This was a busy spot at 6:30 on a Friday night. We highly recommend making a reservation, we didn't, as a result we were seated at the bar, which since it was just two of us worked out great anyway. The bar staff were attentive & helpful describing the menu. For a starter I ordered the Margarita Media Noche, which came in a glass rimmed with cinnamon & salt perfectly complementing the citrusy cocktail. For an appetizer we chose the Atun Tostados & then for the main course we shared a platter containing a selection of Tinga Tostados, Al Pastor Tacos, Baja 2.0 Tacos & E' Steak Koreano & Nopal Tacos. Everyone of them were excellent!
