L'ambiance est très bonne, j'ai essayé différents tacos, c'est bon. Le service était un peu long & manque de générosité dans les plats pour le prix des tacos. Je le recommande

Another impromptu date night, & a great success. We decided to go out pretty late in the evening, so made the reservation on the Google page for 8:30p.m.
Upon arrival, seated quickly, & this time we asked to be further away from the entrance, which was perfect.
Food was delicious as always, chapifleur was amazing 👏🏻 🤩
& our server was such a delight 😊.

We chose Escondite for our date as we have come here before & we really enjoyed the food.
The service was a little slow & our waitress seemed uninterested, but to be fair the restaurant was full. So no problem with lack of attention.
I found it weird that the tables were super sticky, & it kinda grossed me out, so i avoided putting my hands or arms on it, or my utensils. Maybe something to look into?
The staff seemed to have some issues going on, & while I didn't hear what specifically, but it was clear that they were not happy with each other. The hostess seemed stressed the entire time we were there. 🤷🏻?♀?
Being on a romantic date, but seated right in front of the main entrance, & in the middle of the full restaurant already kind of put a dent in my mood, but to watch stressed people around me was just unpleasant.
The food was excellent as usual, with the exception of the Jamaican ceviche, it just doesnt work together in my opinion. The rest was excellent as always!
Overall, we still enjoyed our evening & would be back in a heartbeat...... maybe just not on a busy friday night though! 😂
We came here expecting a Mexican restaurant, but it felt more like a bar than anything else. The food was very overpriced for the portion sizes, which were surprisingly small. Unfortunately, nothing we tried felt authentic or truly Mexican ( I'm am Mexican & this was disappointing) atmosphere is good nice decoration but nothing else …
Excellent moment chez Escondite ! Le service était impeccable, un immense merci à notre serveuse Isabelle qui a été absolument formidable : souriante, attentionnée & très professionnelle. Ses recommandations pour les drinks étaient parfaites ! La nourriture était très bonne & nous avons passé une super soirée. Je recommande sans hésiter !
First time at the Laval location & it didn't disappoint! Isabelle our waitress was super nice, the food was tasty & the vibes were great! Definitely would recommend

Nous avons mangé à Escondite Laval le 7 février vers 17h & tout était parfait. La nourriture était tout simplement excellente, pleine de saveurs & très bien présentée. Mais ce qui a vraiment tout changé pour nous, c'est le service exceptionnel d'Isabelle. Attentionnée, chaleureuse & professionnelle, elle a rendu notre expérience mémorable. Un immense merci à elle ! Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.
Food is good, but portions are small. Waitress forgot twice about the extras we asked for & did not apologize for it. She said she'd bring more water & she never did. Also, 1 star overall for tip options to start at 18%. When will restaurants learn to stop doing that? Put your tip options starting at 15% & stop messing around.
Super nourriture , entrée avec la mangue ainsi que les nachos 2.0 sont des incontournables! Tacos au choux fleur pour une option sans viandes & pollo hermanos pour les amateurs de viandes. Merci pour cette belle soirée tranquille avec une ambiance cozy & romantique !
Really enjoyed our experience here! The atmosphere is fun & colorful great vibe for a night out. We went with the Chef's Choice plate, which was a 4-course tapas-style meal plus dessert for $45, & it was definitely worth it. Drinks are delicious too !
The food was good overall. It was fun not knowing exactly what was coming next, & everything felt thoughtfully prepared.
Service was friendly, & the space itself is beautifully decorated. Would definitely recommend. We'd come back to try other dishes!
I ordered on uber eats some birria tacos with some sides. Not only did i not receive the tacos, not only were the tacos not on the receipt, they put a 17$ « delivery charge » on the order. What a shame, feels like i got scammed. Definitely never ordering anything there ever again. Uber eats wont do anything about it
