Prices are a little high, BUT they serve the best Chinese food between downtown Montreal & Ste-Anne's, maybe even all the way to Ottawa before you find better. & maybe not even then!?
Très belle soirée, mangé très bon par contre portion pas très généreuse,
Busy night...it was mother's day weekend! It was a bit long to receive our food, also I would have preferred a little bit more of the peanut butter sauce on the dumplings...but other than that all was great.
Super bel endroit pour déguster cette cuisine orientale. Service impeccable & serveurs avenants. Propreté du restaurant & décor font que nous y retournons souvent !!
I was very disappointed with this restaurant. My chicken in peanut sauce was bland. Service was very slow. Be prepared to wait close to an hour for your main course. A small bowl of rice is not included. Someone at our table was charged $15 for a small portion of sautéed vegetables. I won't be going back.
Average asian style eatery. Service was slow, but it was a busy Saturday evening. $15 for just a plate of sautéed vegetables is too much. There is vast competition in this type of cuisine. I'm not in a rush to return here anytime soon. We didn't feel that we got bang for our buck.
I'm happy they took my order at closing hour tonight but the food wasn't up to par with the rating. Pad Thai was dry/wong tong & peanut butter dumplings were missing flavour & I paid almost 80$.
Bon rapport qualité prix. On a cependant été déçus car on s'attendait à de la nourriture thaï mais c'est beaucoup plus chinois que thaï. Boeuf sésame très bon. Entrées pas très relevées.
Our family has been longtime fans of Emeraude de Bangkok. Quality of food has always been excellent. Definitely recommend the soups, the peanut butter dumplings & the seasame beef!
Ordered for takeout. The food was good. When I went to pickup my order & pay, the server pressured me to give him at least 15% tip. He remarked "15%, 20%, or 30% please. Made me feel very uncomfortable.
Food was good but I wouldn't call it the best. Portions could have been larger.
Over many visits, I have had the pleasure to try their tom yum soup, mango & papaya salads, green & red curries, lemon chicken & fried rice. I have always been impressed by the quality of their ingredients & the depth of flavors for each of those dishes. It's also not everywhere in MTL that I've been served properly cooked glutinous rice with my curry. Definitely would eat again.
This is my go to "affordable" take out szechuan restaurant. The general Tao is good, the sesame chicken is even better, & the chicken fried rice is nice. We prefer takout over eating in. The service is good, & you can byob (depanneur right next door if you want a beer with your meal). The ambiance is OK, the inside is a little run down. Parking is difficult at meal time hours, there simply isn't enough space for the strip mall.
