Ekki Sushi Tremblant est globalement perçu comme une expérience culinaire remarquable, avec des sushis d'une fraîcheur exceptionnelle et une présentation soignée; le plateau du chef et les sashimis sont souvent cités comme les points forts et la qualité du poisson est décrite comme supérieure et constante; l'ambiance est à la fois intime et raffinée, avec un décor sobre qui valorise le travail des chefs; plusieurs avis soulignent des retards et un service inégal, parfois lent ou peu attentif en période d'affluence, ce qui peut ternir l'expérience malgré la nourriture excellente; les prix sont considérés élevés mais justifiés par la qualité et certaines prestations, notamment les plats signature et les associations de saveurs, qui rehaussent le repas et en font une destination prisée pour les occasions spéciales; dans l'ensemble, la majorité des clients repartent impressionnés par la fraîcheur, le goût et la présentation et promettent de revenir, malgré quelques déceptions liées au service.
AVOID THIS PLACE. It's rare to find high-quality food served with such a blatant lack of respect for the customer.
This restaurant is clearly taking advantage of the fact that they are currently the only ones offering this specific cuisine in the area.
They know people are traveling from both close & far for what should be a pleasant, unique experience, but instead, they treat you like an inconvenience once you're through the door or half way through your visit. You get forgotten at some point.
The prices are astronomical for the'service' provided. We spent more time trying to flag down a server either for water refill, an additional plate, & even to get the bill, than we did actually eating. Being short staffed seems to be their most convenient excuse.
It is a total bait-&-switch: you come for the food, but you leave frustrated by the wait & the feeling that you've been exploited because you have no other local options for this type of meal.
***The most insulting part?***
Look at the history of reviews here. Whether it's from a year, 6 months, 3 months, or just days ago,'Candice from customer service' copy-pastes the exact same robotic, templated response to every single complaint.
Oh Candice Candice & management at Ekki Sushi: Save your templated responses, It is crystal clear that no action is being taken to improve. You are not listening, just checking a box while continuing to overcharge for a miserable service experience.
We are never coming back.
Do yourself a favor & stay away until a competitor opens up who actually cares about their guests.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre soirée au resto Ekki Sushi. L'endroit est charmant & l'ambiance chaleureuse. & les sushi étaient délicieux. Un vrai coup de coeur & nous allons y retourner!
Service très ordinaire de notre serveuse... 2h pour manger & quitter mais tarde pour nous servire en plus des erreur de commande... devoir demander 3x pour avoir de l'eau sans la recevoir.
1. The food was pretty basic Japanese food, nothing out of the ordinary. The portions were ridiculously small, way too pricey. For example: Wagu beef on a stick, consisted of 3 child thumb sized beef pieces on a skewer & costed 28$ CAD. To be honest, if you want to feel full, you need to order at least 6 items of the menu.
2. Service was terrible. Sparkling/tap water is usually free, waitress did not tell us that sparkling water was 12$ a bottle. It took almost 2 hours to get 12 avocado rolls... On top of the long waiting time, she forgot to bring a second bottle of water, our dessert items & even the bill after we requested it (took 3 attemps to get her attention & she still forgot to bring it to us... After a while, she came back to our table & asked us if we wanted to order more food...we requested the bill 20 mins ago.)
3. The music is one musical note playing over & over again, zero effort at all into the ambiance/environment.
4. As guests at the bel air chalets, you would expect a better service & experience for the on site restaurant, as well as some form of discount.
Do not recommend this place unless you like to throw money away. 2 hours later & 250$ lighter, we left the restaurant unsatisfied, annoyed & still hungry.
Edit: Almost 2 years later, we are still waiting on the promised discount coupon they were supposed to send through the mail after calling us to apologize for being such poor hosts. After reading multiple reviews here, i noticed that all the ones having a terrible experience were seating at the chef's table like us. As if the staff deemed us less worthy/profitable than large groups at the tables, which is thruthfully disgusting. Thats a dumb logic as well, considering that small groups can do just as much damage to your reputation by reviewing you poorly for the service they received. Again, aweful management & service.
La qualité & la fraîcheur des produits ne se traduisent malheureusement pas dans l'assiette. Le plateau Deluxe séduit visuellement, mais l'expérience en bouche ne tient pas ses promesses. L'écart entre l'apparence & le goût est frappant.
Payer pour une Ferrari & recevoir un poney : c'est l'impression laissée par Ekki Sushi. Nous ne recommandons pas. À ce prix, des plateaux prêts-à-manger d'une épicerie locale offrent un rapport qualité-prix supérieur.

The most elegant & beautiful atmosphere. Ideal for a date night. But very family friendly as well. The sushi was FANTASTIC - fresh & delicious. The extra mile they go on presentation, even just for a couple of rolls, creates a unique & differentiated experience.
Awesome experience - parking down below is a good choice. Sushi presentation is amazing presented on large charcuterie boards with amazing flavors offered by the chefs choice platters. Shout out to Chef Jian & Chef Merts

A chef special that was prepared by Chef Merts was spectacular! A wonderful atmosphere enhanced by a truly unique & deliciously curated meal. An amazing experience.
Our food created by Chef Merts & Chef Jian was an absolute piece of art. Flavours were fantastic, & the presentation was beautiful! We ordered the Chefs' choice platter & it did not disappoint.
We love bringing friends here as they are always'wow'ed by the food.
Thank you for another fantastic experience! We will be back!!
