I've tried their food & it's not that great. Smoked meat isn't that great & the fries are not good at all. The only thing I love about Dunns is those cakes & pickled jars. Love the cakes & hopefully we can get some more flavors.
Old school smoked meat with fries, pickles, & cole slaw. Diner deli style restaurant. The food was yummy, but we were shocked how much the price went up for a simple lunch, no dessert, but thanks.

Pleasant dining area with nice red booths. Great service, waiter friendly & attentive. Huge, excellent Club Sandwich. Regular smoked meat platter comes with lots of fries, creamy coleslaw & a crunchy half pickle. Unfortunately the smoked meat sandwich, ordered medium was a little dry. But this was an exception, I will go back. No room for dessert :( The cakes look amazing!
Great Diner & has underrated smoked meat.. use to be a late night spot as it was 24hr You would have to double check now but a nice portion with fries or poutine & that smoked meat always hit the right notes when entering Montreal through Decarie
It's not bad, not great, food is good not just the smoked meat but the pizzas & pastas, though very over priced even more than Schwarts & they are no where near the quality & flavor of Schwarts, even Reubens is a better bargain. Service is acceptable & a nice place to sit & catch up with friends very relaxing open atmosphere. Just the food is a tad over priced.
Overpriced. Beware of substitutions. We used to come here quite often, but took a break when we moved to a different hood. Went back tonight with friends & were disappointed. The burgers tasted like they were frozen first, bland & not juicy. My child's kids meal of 2 chicken nuggets & veggies somehow cost $15, without dessert. I get inflation, but at least don't skimp on portions, flavor & quality. Serve was excellent as usual.

Dunn's in Montreal is a must-visit! I ordered their medium special smoked meat, & I can confidently say it was the best smoked meat I've ever had. The flavor & tenderness were unmatched. & the service was fantastic. Budget-friendly too! Highly recommended!
Where's the beef Actually where's the staff?
Came in for a late dinner with friends, no one around to greet us, sat ourselves, waited what seemed a really long time for a waiter to come around & serve us. He seemed really spaced out!! Kept sniffing over our table like he had a bad cold....or was a coke addict. Really weird experience. He went back to visit with his friends at another table & didn't appear again except to bring our plates. Food wasn't too bad, nothing special. Then he kept pushing us to have some alcohol, WE DON'T DRINK! WE DON'T WANT ALCOHOL! Not a comfortable experience.
