Service rapide & repas frais.
La viande n'est pas la meilleure au gout dans le domaine mais je dois avouer que j'aime mieux la salade de chou offerte en accompagnement chez Dunns.
Le service est exemplaire & rapide, un des point fort de ce type de restaurant.
Ambiance un peu terne, éclairage inegal, televisions petites pour de grands espaces mais tout est propre & soigné.

This Dunn's has the best food from all the franchise, the service is always welcoming & efficient. Everything we tried from the salads to the smoked meat was great. I love that you can choose if you want your smoked meat lean, medium or fat. I usually don't like smoked meat because it is overly salted & too fat, but I got a bagel sandwich with lean smoked meat & it was amazing; the meat was buttery soft, not excessively salty & just the right amount of fat to my liking! Their poutines are also great, with a nice dark sauce & lots of cheese. Also, I couldn't leave without getting the warm cookie with ice cream for dessert, my favorite!

Portion de viande fumée sur la pizza Dunn's très décevante pour $24.95.
Je ne crois pas y retourner. Dommage, ça déjà été meilleur.

Hit Dunns again this week for the usual smoked meat sandwich, fries & latka!
Medium fat.

I enjoyed Dunns 50 years ago when Myer Dunn would stand outside the restaurant on St. Catherine's street & invite the bar crowd to stop in for coffee & cheesecake.
Now we go to Dunns on St Martin in Laval. Myer is long past, but the smoked meat is every bit as good as ever.
My go to meals is a large sandwich, medium fat, cole slaw, fries, black cherry soda, & of course... World famous strawberry cheesecake!
For sure, a meal to be ordered rarely with a nod to the waistline. For me, Dunns sandwich & cheesecake is Montreal! Highly recommend.

Im used to going to dunns in greenfield park so i had no reason to think it would be bad here. But the service & food were quite bad compared to the other places. My girlfriend ordered a club roll which usually is full.of smoked meat, beef & chicken salami but like there was only one VERY VERY thin slice of smoked meat (see the photo)
Also, i ordered extra cheese & meat for my poutine, & when i saw what i got, i waited to get the waiters attention to ask him if he could check if there was extra but couldnt even see him. After 5mins i gave up & started eating because it was getting cold. By the time the waiter came back, it was 20mins mins later where we were basically done eating & he came back to fill out water glasses. 20mins for a refill is long...
Normally we have our waiter come ask us if everything is ok, if the foods good or if we need anything else. Nothing from this guy. Kinda relieved that this isnt the kind of service & food we have in greenfield park

Absolutely a MUST if in the area. Beats Schwartz all day long! Dunn's also has its original location in downtown Montreal - amazing smoked meat & everything else on the menu is just as delicious. This is where the locals go to get best smoked meat!

We visited Dunn's with a softball team & all of the parents, so it was a very large group.
Orders were taken within a reasonable amount of time, & the kitchen was very efficient to get our orders out
The menu is huge, with something for everyone.
My husband ordered the smoked meat sandwich, & I had the smoked meat club.
What you don't see in the photos are the best pickle & a delicious bowl of slaw under the mound of fries.
Parking was plentiful.

I cannot say enough good things about Dunn's. I live outside of Quebec, but every time I visit, I make it a priority to stop in for the most amazing smoked meat on the planet! In fact, everything on the menu is fantastic, including the desserts. The freshness of all the ingredients & the homemade recipes are truly scrumptious! I highly recommend it!

J'ai visité Dunn's il y a quelques semaines. La réception a pris ma commande ds les 3 minutes de mon arrivée, & la commande était prête dans les 5 minutes.
L'ambiance était généralement tranquille.

Excellent mais j'aimerais donner mon avis à l'entreprise Dunn's Famous. Je suis très déçu que le hot roasbeef est été enlever du menu car c etait un de mes repas préféré tout resto confondu. J'aimerais que ce choix revienne dans le menu & c'est clair que j'y retournerais davantage. Merci de votre écoute !

I had lunch at Dunn's Famous & I really enjoyed my meal, I took the "Super Combo Smoked Meat" & it was delicious! The staff were friendly & the service was quick to get our meal. Very clean & organized, great atmosphere. I would recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for great smoked meat.

I recently visited Dunn's restaurant in Laval. The food was great & very flavorful. However, we had to wait a considerable amount of time to place our order as no one attended to us promptly. While the meal was enjoyable, the slow service was disappointing. I hope they can improve their customer service for a better dining experience.

Food is very good because the smoke meat is juicy. The service is lovely because they interact & they take good care of us. The atmosphere is calme because the music is not loud. Thank Dunn's for this good lunch!

It's not often I get an opportunity to visit Montreal. Had a business trip there this week, & only had time for one personal meal & I wanted good local smoked meat. A colleague out of our Montreal office recommended Dunn's as it was close to the hotel, & I have to say, I was beyond impressed with their service, & the quality of the Reuben we got. After a long flight from Calgary to Montreal, with a near three-hour delay, this was our first stop upon arrival & it was a fantastic welcome to Montreal. The meat was perfectly juicy with the right fattiness to complement the texture & flavours - incroyable! Not to mention a properly done coleslaw that I haven't had in a while. It was so good that before flying back to Calgary, I popped in en route to the airport to get two sandwiches to bring back to Calgary for my wife. The staff was very accommodating in deconstructing the sandwiches & packaging the meat separately to avoid the bread getting soggy. My wife was beyond ecstatic & thoroughly enjoyed the sandwiches when I arrived home. I promised her I would bring her to Dunn's in person whenever we find ourselves out east again, & it will for sure be the Laval location! Well done Team Dunn's. I can see why you've been in business since 1927! Merci beaucoup!

Great quality Dunns smoked meat meal. You can never go wrong with that. But wish it was a little cheaper.

Asked for medium smoked meat, & 3/4 of the meat we got was just fat. When we told it to the waitress, she gladly offer to exchange it but we were in a hurry & didn't want to waste time. She still brought more meat, & it was hilarious because the meat was again mostly fat. This wasn't medium as well, a bit weird when your specialty is supposed to be smoked meat & I have eaten at other Dunn's location without any problems in the past. What we got shouldn't even be served.
