Very disappointed with our experience at Dunn's today.

I used to come here all the time & always had a great experience with both the food & the service, which is why today was particularly disappointing.

I came in with my husband, who ordered a Reuben. I wasn't very hungry, so I asked if I could order a kids' meal just to have something small while keeping him company. I was told I wasn't allowed to order from the kids' menu. I simply said,'Okay, thank you,' & decided not to order anything.

My husband enjoyed his Reuben so much that he ordered another one to take home. Unfortunately, when we got home & opened it, there was essentially no meat - it was almost entirely fat. He was expecting the same sandwich he had just enjoyed at the restaurant, but instead received what was basically a lard sandwich.

The restaurant was also extremely cold, which made the experience even less comfortable.

On top of everything, I felt that the waitress's attitude changed after I left a smaller tip. I didn't feel that the service warranted a larger tip based on my experience, & I felt uncomfortable with the impression that this affected her attitude toward us.

I'm genuinely disappointed because I used to come to Dunn's regularly & always had such positive experiences. Unfortunately, today the food, service, & overall atmosphere were nowhere near what I remember.

Very disappointed today at Dunns. I used to come here all the time & the food & service was always amazing. Unfortunately that is not the experience we had today. The service was terrible. I ordered a cobb salad, they forgot the eggs & many ingredients in the salad were missing. It was the most boring meal ive ever had in a restaurant. My husband had a smoked meat sandwich that he considered average at best. Sad to say I wont be coming back as I used to love coming here

Fast, clean, delicious. LARGE portions. Two of us shared the large smoked meat sandwich & fries (upgraded to poutine) & could not finish it! Comes with a crisp coleslaw & pickle half.

I ate there for lunch with some people from work. They have two sizes of sandwich regular & super. I got the super thinking it would be big. In the end it was just a regular sandwich which tasted like rubber. I can't believe they call that a super sandwich. It was not big, just a regular sandwich. The fries tasted cold & old. The coleslaw had a terrible after taste. I am never going back there again, if you want excellent smoke meat go to George's deli next door. The portions are double the size. You get so much more meat, hot fries, & a full bowl of coleslaw with a huge pickle unlike Dunn's who gives you half the portions. Sorry Dunn's I won't be coming back.

Tried it a couple days ago for the first time & their club smoked meat sandwiches & onion rings where amazing. Very big portion!

I had the small smoked meat sandwich, medium fat. The meat was good, the fries were ok. The pickle & the coleslaw were a bit too salty.
Overall, it was good.

This Dunn's has the best food from all the franchise, the service is always welcoming & efficient. Everything we tried from the salads to the smoked meat was great. I love that you can choose if you want your smoked meat lean, medium or fat. I usually don't like smoked meat because it is overly salted & too fat, but I got a bagel sandwich with lean smoked meat & it was amazing; the meat was buttery soft, not excessively salty & just the right amount of fat to my liking! Their poutines are also great, with a nice dark sauce & lots of cheese. Also, I couldn't leave without getting the warm cookie with ice cream for dessert, my favorite!
