One of my favorite restaurants in the east of Montreal.
All menu options are fresh, tasty & of great quality!
My usual go-to is the fiorentina steak for 2, the linguine frutti di mare are loaded with seafood & tartare options are so good…
+ BRING YOUR OWN WINE!
can't wait to be back!
Love to go here.
Bring your own wine & the food has always been good.
The only negative point I have is that they only serve water in bottles & at 6/7$ a bottle when you have people that don't drink or kids as well it becomes more expensive than the food it self.
Other than that great please for lunch meetings & special occasions.
Oh man! Craving a steak? Come to this restaurant. To sum it up, everything was on point! (P.S.: Don't forget to get your own wine bottle.)
It used to be good! Now overpriced & service is slow & sometimes a little rude. Luckily it's being your own wine. But nothing special life before.
Good food & service. Try the fried calamari, prosciutto, tuna tataki, veal with portobello sauce & vegetables, seafood pasta, salmon tartare. It's a bring your wine & beer. There's a beautiful terrace with about 50 places. Indoor it's about 50 places with high & standard tables.
The service here is great. I have never heard of this place before I went with some friends. It is a nice bring your own wine meat restaurant. I don't eat meat so I had the sea bass. & some appetizers. The tuna tar tar & the burrata to start. Everything was fresh & full of flavor. They have a large selection of dessers as well.
Good food & service, plus you can bring your own wine!
Imagine a butcher shop that sells top notch meat cuts that cooks your selection for you on a grill & serves it like in a grand restaurant with a magnificent presentation right to your table & you have "Du Boucher à la Table". The service was also top notch. The place was full on a Thursday night so reservations are recommended. It's a bring your own wine so don't forget your bottle. The menu is varied & there is a vegetarian option.
We were 2 couples & ordered a few appetizers. The calamari was good as was the octopus. The salad was fresh as well. Rib steak was a nice piece & well prepared. They were kind enough to decant my older wine. Although it was quite noisy, I would recommend.
great food, great service & bring your own wine. perfect. Thank you Vince for the great meal!
My favorite place for classic dinner. Also Bring Your Own Wine!
Incredibly good food...steak & calamari are always excellent. Bring your own wine. Service is fantastic 👏
Not at all what I expected. Way over priced for the service & the quality of food. The table was too tiny we asked for another table to be added if possible. We were told tables were reserved. The busboy was kind enough to get us the extra table. We asked for a mid-well cooked steak, we got a charcoaled piece. Best part, the waiter arguied that was what we ordered. We waited a total time of 2h13m for a steak dinner. Bring your own wine is what's keeping this place in business. The signature dessert is just ok. Not to die for really. The pasta was good. The calamari could be a little crispy. They serve a plate of antipasto which is free with bread. After the meal, we got a plate of fruits (oranges, melon, & spoiled grapes) complementary of the house. Over all, it wasn't the greatest of experiences.
Neat Bring You Own Wine restaurant. This is a solid 4.5 in my book (if only Google allows .5 rating) The food is excellent. Everything is well prepared & you can tell the ingredients are fresh. I sure hope so as it's a butcher place at the same time. The steaks are of great quality. We tried various dishes & they're generous enough in size to share. The services were meticulous & friendly. The price is on point. It's not cheap, but definitely not overcharged. The ambiance is cozy. You're either sitted inside with minimal decor or outside under the chapiteau. It does have its charm, but nothing to rave about. Definitely put the emphasis on the great company you're with & the wine you brought to enjoy!
My colleagues suggested me to try this place & I can't thank them enough. From the outside, you would think it's a casual restaurant attached to a butcher shop as an add on but once you get in, the atmosphere changes to a nice family style ambiance. We were a group of 8 & we went on a monday, & it was packed just to give you an idea! The staff were welcoming & friendly, they have an extensive seasonal menu & they took time to explain to us how it works for us first timers. We started with the calamari, & they were cooked to perfection!! Not too much batter & great seasoning. I ordered the ribeye steak & it was cooked perfect medium rare. The portion was great for the price. I finish with the tartufo & it was amazing. A gelato dessert with caramel inside, yes!! Overall, great discovery, i would come back for sure with my friends:)) & it a bring your own wine restaurant, good vibes only
