Tried dosa, idli, & vada here recently. Everything tasted really authentic & had a unique flavor you don't usually find everywhere. The chutneys were fresh & well-made, which made the whole experience even better.
Definitely worth trying if you enjoy good South Indian food!

Mysore masala ghee dosa & a combo of idli vada: outstanding
The size of the idli was humongous & fresh. 👌

Felt the Sambhar more like a dal this time, need some improvement.
We also ordered Lassi: 3/5

Otherwise Super yummy preparation, must visit.
Service was really fast.

Tried , vada & idli with sambhar . Idli thick & sambhar is tasteless . Another dish was onion uttapam which was absolutely uncooked, thick & tasteless.
Service was lousy taking 25 minutes to serve , repeatedly asking to serve water , they have no time to listen .
I felt I wasted my $19 & time.

Me & my husband are regular customers here. We usually come here from all the way from Cornwall just for Dosa & idli. It's been a year now & we love this place so much & their food is so authentic & good. I would really recommend everyone if you come to Montreal you should try this place..🩷🩷🩷✨✨✨

Dosa Express, recently relocated to Des Sources from Marché De L'Ouest, is an absolute delight. My first mouthful of idli set temple bells ringing, followed by the distant recitation of shlokas - I must have died & gone to heaven. I don't have enough superlatives to praise this eatery. It's a brilliant find, worth every morsel.
Gautam stepped out of the kitchen mid-meal, gauging whether he should get started on our next course. The food arrived piping hot, served adroitly & with a warm smile by Jasleen. The vadas were to die for. The uttapam groaned under the weight of its generous accompaniments - sambhar, chutney, & podi with ghee - an unexpected treat that had us licking our plates clean.
& the dosas! Hot, crisp, & perfect - this time the sambhar came studded with tender fingers of drumsticks. Yum!
We've found a home away from home. It's fair to say we loved every bite & will be returning, kit & caboodle. Oh, & did I mention? The price of the meal was a song.

Tried Dosa Express recently & absolutely loved it! 😋 We ordered Mysore Masala Dosa, Ghee Karam Masala Dosa, Onion Masala Dosa, Uttappam, & Idli-Vada - everything was crispy, flavorful, & tasted authentic South Indian style. 💛

The prices were decent, & the staff & chefs were super friendly. They even offered a few dishes to sample & happily took feedback, which shows how much they care about their customers. 🙌

If you're craving real South Indian flavors, this place is a must-try in town! 🌶?🍛✨

I had 3 idlis, 2 vadas, & this amazing Ghee Podi Dosa. Every bite was pure bliss! The chutneys were top-notch especially the coconut & tomato full of flavor, perfect texture, & quantity.
Service super fast & friendly.Hygiene Clean & well-maintained place.
Felt just like homecooked food, like something made with love by mom. ❤?
Perfect taste, quality, quantity everything was spot on 😍👌

The dosa here is simply amazing-crispy, flavorful, & served fresh every time🫶🏻. The idli is soft & fluffy, & everything tastes so authentic & delicious. It truly feels like a taste of South India. The service is warm, & the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. If you love dosa & idli like I do, this is definitely the place to go!❤?❤?

We stumbled upon Dosa Express by chance while searching for a place open on Labour Day-& what a lucky find it turned out to be! Not only were they open, but they also graciously accommodated our group of eight without any hassle.

The dosas were absolutely outstanding. We tried the Masala, Podi, Mysore Masala, & Karam dosas-each one packed with flavor & perfectly crisped. We also ordered three plates of idlis, which were soft, fluffy, & steamed to perfection. The sambar was flavorful, & not overly spicy, making it a great complement to the meal.

Beyond the delicious food, the service was truly exceptional. A special shout-out to Venki & his team for their warm hospitality & attentiveness throughout our visit.

We left happy & full-& we'll definitely be coming back for more!

Oh my gosh. I'm visiting from the U.S. (Washington state). My family took us out to the new location of Dosa Express. It was phenomenal. Our group tried 9 different dosas (masala, karam, mysore masala, plain, etc.). Each & every dosa was delicious... got their podi too. Their idlis were amazing! The service was also fantastic... owner Venkie was gracious & very accommodating. This place is a must visit.
