We really like coming to Dosa Express, surely our favorite South Indian restaurant in Montreal.
Our usual menu items include various types masala soda & uttapam. However this time, we were feeling for a change & went for idly & vada. & we were very much pleased.
The idly's texture was perfect, soft & fluffy. It absorbed just the right amount of sambar, for a tasty combination.
The vada were crispy on the outside & nice & spongy inside, another delicious match for the sambar & the chutneys (coconut 🥥 is my favorite).
We concluded this treat with a masala chai which was nicely strong & flavorful. ☕

It's my 4 time here & every time I feel the same… I Absolutely loved our experience last night 🤗.. The Mysore dosa & idlis were amazing, & the vadas were perfectly crispy on the outside & soft inside. The chutneys were full of flavour, & the sambar was simply wow! Authentic, delicious South Indian food - definitely worth trying! ❤?

We visited for the first time, & it was a wonderful experience! We started with the **vada**, which came with **three freshly made, hot, crispy vadas** served alongside delicious **sambar, coconut chutney, & tomato chutney**. Everything tasted fresh, & the vada was absolutely perfect.

We also ordered a **filter coffee**, which was excellent & complemented the meal really well.

For the main course, we had **three ghee masala dosas**. They were crispy, generously filled, great in quantity, & incredibly tasty. Every dish was flavorful & freshly prepared.

The restaurant has **plenty of parking** & a spacious dining area, making it comfortable even for families. The **customer service was also very good** the staff were friendly & attentive.

Our child absolutely loved the **vada & dosa**, which made the visit even more enjoyable.

The only suggestion I have is to ensure the **wash basin & restrooms are cleaned regularly during busy rush hours**. When we first arrived, there were only a couple of customers, but within a short time, the restaurant became almost completely full.

Overall, the food was outstanding, & we'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Overall, this place is great. The dosa itself was more on the thicker side with a good flavour profile & savory potato filling (since i ordered an onion masala dosa). The samba is the star. Very well made & gives you a sense of warmth. The chutneys are appeared fresh & tasted really well. While the service is on the slow side, this may be attributed to there only being 3 employees in the entire restaurant. The prices are very reasonable & I will return!

Amazing dosa spot. We tried their Idli , vada & masala dosa & ghee masala dosa. Everything was very good, specially their sambar & the chutneys

This dosa spot is such a little gem. The dosas come out perfectly crisp on the outside & soft inside, with fillings that are full of flavor & comfort. Every bite feels warm & satisfying, especially with the chutneys & sambar on the side.
I enjoyed the masala cheese dosa. Give it a try.
The idli & vada come with chutneys as well.
Enjoyed my time here.

Hands down the best dosa place in Montreal. Every single detail is on point. The idly & vada were soft, not dry at all. The chutneys & sambar were perfectly seasoned, & the portions were generous. As for the dosa, I had the paneer masala one, & the filling was life-changing. I also liked that the dosa was crispy on the outside & soft on the inside. They make a great mango lassi as well. The whole for a super reasonable price!

Délicieux & frais. Première fois ici & pas la dernière.
Dose ghee Mysore & magnifique, avec un chutney coconut, & un epicé. Meilleur sambar que je au gouté.

On y va pour la bouffe, pas le décors.

Nice spot for dosa if you don't want to drive to Parc Ex. The potato filling doesn't have a lot of spice, very blend. & they only give two chutneys with the dosa,
