We really like coming to Dosa Express, surely our favorite South Indian restaurant in Montreal.
Our usual menu items include various types masala soda & uttapam. However this time, we were feeling for a change & went for idly & vada. & we were very much pleased.
The idly's texture was perfect, soft & fluffy. It absorbed just the right amount of sambar, for a tasty combination.
The vada were crispy on the outside & nice & spongy inside, another delicious match for the sambar & the chutneys (coconut 🥥 is my favorite).
We concluded this treat with a masala chai which was nicely strong & flavorful. ☕

We had a wonderful experience at Dosa Express! We went in with our little one & ordered an idli for her. Tanu so kindly brought it out right away. We also asked for a knife to cut an apple for our little one, & she brought the knife & actually cut the apple herself for us. Such a thoughtful & caring gesture!

The food was delicious too. We had the ghee masala dosa, idlis, & lassi, & everything was fresh & very tasty. The warm service & kindness really stood out, especially when traveling with a little one. We would definitely recommend Dosa Express & will happily visit again!

It's my 4 time here & every time I feel the same… I Absolutely loved our experience last night 🤗.. The Mysore dosa & idlis were amazing, & the vadas were perfectly crispy on the outside & soft inside. The chutneys were full of flavour, & the sambar was simply wow! Authentic, delicious South Indian food - definitely worth trying! ❤?
