Vibe, music & food are so elevated & really makes me feel like I'm in a fancy new york restaurant without any pretentiousness. Highly recommend!View more
Food was great. Service was incredible & our server was incredibly friendly & personable. One of the best old fashioned's I've ever had. Duck crown was definitely the highlight of the meal, although the rest of the food was still very good too. Tiramisu was also fantastic.
However, the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that we had an incredibly long wait for our entrees to come out. I understand that grand prix weekend is an incredibly busy time but maybe the restaurant needs to manage bookings accordingly... Maybe it should be harder to get a reservation at dorsia!
All in all I would absolutely return & recommend it.... Just maybe not during GP weekend!View more

Dorsia was recommended to us by a bartender at our hotel & we will definitely return.
From the service to the food, Dorsia really surprised us. Everything we ordered was fresh, tasty & exciting. Service was top notch. From the knowledge of the dishes to the recommendations of wines. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend trying this place before it becomes impossible to get a reservation.View more

Very elegant vibe. The service was stunning. Atmosphere was very elevated. Appetizers were great. But pasta was not al dente it was just undercooked. Fish was great. Great cocktail menu with fast service. Atmosphere was sexy would totally recommend a first date here ;)View more
A real hidden gem in Old Montreal! The attention to details is phenomenal. The interior designer & the art is absolutely incredible which sets the tone on a beautiful experience. Service was excellent, from the moment we walked in to leaving they were very attentive & made us feel at home. Food portion was small but the quality was at a high level. Prices are great for the quality. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great fine dining experience to visit Dorsia! Their music selection is also a nice bonus adding on to the overall dinner.View more
I'm a tourist in Montreal, was searching for the perfect spot to eat & I got lots of recommendations about Dorsia. But to be honest, Filet Mignon was the only thing I really enjoyed, It was just beyond everything . Dorsia positioned itself as a fine dining restaurant, but I didn't feel it. Usually you expect someone to explain you the dishes & exclusive ingredients that make the dish to taste in a unique way. Unfortunately I didn't get any explanations at all:( As for tartare it was just average & Agnolotti were way too oily for me. Unfortunately neither service nor food left a special impression. Just an expensive place without the soul. Wouldn't come back or recommend Dorsia to someone who is looking to taste & feel real MontrealView more
Let's start with the food: exquisite, a word so frequently misused it often feels hollow. But not here. The amuse-bouche-a delicate arrangement of sea urchin, caviar, & a whisper of Meyer lemon-was so ethereal, it felt like I was eating stardust. The main course? An herb-crusted lamb rack paired with an aged Bordeaux reduction that could have brought Nietzsche himself to tears. It was the kind of meal that makes you ponder the futility of existence, then promptly forget it as you revel in your next perfectly executed bite. The dessert, a deconstructed lavender panna cotta, was so sublime I considered framing the plate rather than letting the busboy take it away. The ambiance? Immaculate. Warm, muted lighting cast over sleek, minimalistic decor that suggested wealth without screaming it-a detail I respect. The clientele was... acceptable. A mix of high-powered executives & impeccably dressed women sipping martinis with such precision you'd think it was choreographed. The music? A discreet mix of Miles Davis & Vivaldi, a soothing backdrop that never once overpowered the muted hum of power & privilege. What truly sets Dorsia apart, though, is the service. The waiter, who had a jawline sharp enough to rival mine, attended to my every whim with the sort of reverence I deserve. My water glass never dipped below half-full. My wine pairings were so on point they bordered on clairvoyance. I tipped generously, of course-anything less would be gauche. Would I recommend Dorsia? Not to Paul Allen. He wouldn't understand the nuanced brilliance of the chef's approach, nor would he grasp the importance of a reservation. But to those who can, & do, aspire to greatness-yes. Absolutely.View more
Beautiful restaurant, delicious food & amazing service! Trendy yet classy. I highly recommend.View more
Amazing cocktails, friendly service with amazing decoration & most importantly I cannot get over how decadent the mussels were, the tomato base is seasoned perfectly with fresh soft slightly chewy mussels. It is hard to achieve that result but I can definitely say that those were the best mussels I have had in a while. I totally recommend!View more
Amazing & high-level service with great staff in city center. I recommend.View more
The manager & his staff (receptionist, maitre d'hotel, waiters & chef) thanks to their warm welcome, professionalism & passion offered us a top-notch experience. The staff was always smiling & attentive to details. The chef & his brigade master their techniques & seasonings. The interior is elegant, sober & efficient where several tables are available with diffrent capacities (2,4,6... pax) spaced out reasonably. I recommend the Lamb Duo!View more

THANK YOU AMINE!! Dorsia🤍 is a true culinary gem that offers an unforgettable dining experience from start to finish. Every dish is a masterpiece, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality, creativity, & flavor. The duck was a standout-perfectly cooked with a crispy skin & tender, juicy meat that melted in my mouth. The richness of the duck was balanced beautifully with a subtle sweetness that made every bite a delight. Next came the salmon sashimi-a dish that surprised & delighted with its fresh & melting texture, creating a harmonious blend that was both sophisticated & comforting. The scallop ceviche was a revelation. The scallops were incredibly fresh, with a perfect balance of acidity & sweetness. Each bite was light, refreshing, & bursting with flavor, making it a perfect appetizer to whet the appetite. The steak filet mignon tartare was another highlight. The beef was of exceptional quality, finely chopped & seasoned to perfection. The tartare had a rich, robust flavor with just the right amount of spice, making it a dish I would return for again & again. The atmosphere is warm & inviting, & the service is top-notch. I can't recommend this place enough-every dish is a culinary journey worth taking.View more
