Decent noodle with good portion. I was looking for a place with good noodle & bbq pork&duck & this place did not disappoint me. Will go back again!Voir plus
The food was good & delivered quickly. The restaurant itself is very basic. The staff were friendlyVoir plus
Anything on the menu is delicious. Bbq'd meats are to die for. Great prices. Simple but mixture of whimsical (duck figurines), trendy (local beer brand) & vintage (old HK & Bruce Lee posters) decor.Voir plus
Musique un peu forte, minimum d'effort de la part du serveur, bouffe assez ordinaire.Voir plus
Ordered BBQ Pork through Doordash, honestly, it. was. incredible. I bought 1lb of BBQ pork & a side of steamed rice & they paired very well together, I ended up saving half of the BBQ pork for another meal because it's a good portion. (I mean it is a pound). Very worth it.Voir plus
So not order the roasted duck. Overcooked & dry, there are better places for it in Chinatown.Voir plus
Had the Cantonese chow mein via Uber. Is it normal the sauce was vinegary & had black beans? Not the typical Cantonese chow mein I'm used to & it was borderline too salty. Not for me.Voir plus
Love the food here, my go to for a quick affordable bite!Voir plus
Cute spot with nice staff, but have noticed a sharp decrease in the food quality the past couple months. Ordered soy chow mein that was just soy sauce, noodles, bean sprouts, no onion, half the noodles were white & was overal bland. My favourite dish, Singapore noodles often come with no seasoning, no curry powder, just wet over cooked rice noodles with veg, pork & overcooked shrimp. Shame cause the staff & drinks are so great. The meats are good but are often more fat than meatVoir plus
Some of the dishes were a 11/10 & others were 7/10. I'd definitely go back!
I had the chance to try a lot of items on the menu over a period of time & honestly, flavour wise, they never fail. It's good, it's efficient, it's tasteful. What a gem. I love a couple of establishments in the city that I feel like they're the heart & soul of Montreal culture & Dobe & Andy is Definitely up there. 10/10 I always recommend!Voir plus
Curry Duck Fried Rice was so absurdly good that I ordered two of them. PhenomenalVoir plus
For a restaurant that claims to be authentic I'm pretty disappointed. Roasted pork shouldn't look remotely like this. Nobody sells roasted pork like this in HK. The skin & the pork are all separated. Not to mention the skins were not crispy at all, if any. The char siu is too "lean", this sort of char siu is generally used for char siu spaghetti soup (叉燒湯意) in HK, but not in rice meals. The ginger & scallion sauce is fine though.Voir plus
Nice hole in the wall place. Relaxed atmosphere, kinda kitschy with posters & pictures of Bruce Lee on the wall. FANTASTIC char siu. Best I've ever had.Voir plus
Truly one of those spots I'd miss if I ever had to move away from Montreal. Outstanding Hong Kong BBQ & other great dishes from the kitchen.Voir plus
As a traveler from Hong Kong, I can tell that the atmosphere feels like the old times in Hong Kong. However, the food I have ordered was not that great. Firstly, BBQ Pork & Roasted Pork are supposed to have different tastes, but the restaurant seems to have similar marination. Secondly, BBQ Pork & Roasted Pork are supposed to have certain percentage of grease to have better "grilled" tastes, but the meat here were too thin & so not tendered. Thirdly, BBQ Pork & Roasted Pork in Hong Kong are affordable food for the general public, which is manifested in the great portion & great price. The food here are not that expensive, but the portion of meat seems to be too not generous. Fourthly, BBQ Pork & Roasted Pork are supposed to have some kind of black & crispy texture at the edge (膿邊 in Chinese), but the meat here certainly ignore that important part. The iced milk tea is good that the tea base is Hongkongese. The use of milk makes it more compatible with the Hong Kong style. The size of the milk tea is big, which is quite similar to Hong Kong. Overall, I would say that in Canada, especially in Montreal, you cannot expect too much in Chinese food. But it's generally ok compared with other Chinese food in Northern America.Voir plus
The duck was fantastic, service was good & if you are a Bruce Lee fan you'll love the atmosphereVoir plus
Not whole lot of authentic Chinese flavor in the food. The place is affordable for a cheap meal.Voir plus
