Reviews for District Bagel
I was disappointed that all the utensils provided were single-use. I really wish Montreal had regulations to discourage non-eco-friendly practices in restaurants. The bagels were decent, though nothing extraordinary, & the service was satisfactory.
Great place. Delicious kosher eats.
Place feels like a stuffy cafeteria. Not intimate. Soups & egg fajita are fab.
Best bagels in town. Try their'everything bagel' if you haven't, they are amazing!
Single worst experience i ever had in a restaurant in Montreal & I've been here for ten years
Congrats at least you won something!
2 burt bagel & a burt coffee that took 30 minutes to make in a weird unwelcoming atmosphere
Dont go there
Or do for a social experiment maybe
Oh yeah & it cost me 50$
Absolutely loved the bagel sandwich & chocolate chip cookie. Would come back 100%
This place is not really worth it.
Ordered 2 breakfast bagels & they both were really small & burnt, which made them taste bitter.
My hot coffee was not bad.
The service is like mcdonalds with a similar atmosphere, disposable tableware but not as busy.
This place is definitely very popular among local jewish community.
2 breakfast bagels + Iced coffee + cappuccino was 50$ before tip! Too pricy for what it was which is sad…
I had my first Montreal bagel here- small, hard, dense & a little sour compared to US bagels. (They were not fresh enough to be soft & warm, but they didn't seem stale) I am not sure how much I like it. But Ihad something called a blintz pie that we loved!
Very small bagels. bought an egg sandwich, & it was very small.the drink was tasteless & very ice. Very pricy...
District Bagel has a menu spanning Jewish breakfast favourites, centering around bagels as the name suggests. The ordering kiosk is easy to use & offers customization options. The space has Jewish texts throughout the place. Not that it bothered me but was just irregular to see in what I expected to be a secular space. I went for the breakfast sandwich, which I had a mixed experience with. All of the ingredients were of great quality, but inappropriately thick cut for a sandwich. When I opened the paper, a third of the ingredients were already outside of the bagel so I knew I was in for a messy meal. There's no way you can get through this thing without it completely disassembling after a couple bites. The avocados were particularly large & to be honest totally unnecessary in this sandwich. The sandwich isn't cheap either, it's oddly priced about the same as the plates. I really think they should just remove the avocado because it's not really complimentary to the sandwich, makes it even messier & adds to the cost. As difficult to eat as it was, it was still really tasty. I liked the comfy upstairs dining room they had with an accessible sink which I very much needed.
BEST FOOD EVER!!!! great costumer service best place to go even some items are expensive you pay for what you get!!! pays every Dolle
I guess they cut my bagel with a dirty knife the whole plate was dirty from avocado probably from someone else's sandwich, it was actually very quick ready
Had a great experience with family food & service were super everyone so friendly we had an amazing time
Seriously delicious New York style bagels. Friendly staff. Ordering is quick & easy from a touchscreen.
