'Stopped by Dispensa Deli around lunchtime & the line was long - waited about 45 minutes since lots of people were grabbing food on their lunch break. We didn't end up trying their sandwiches (already had other lunch plans) but picked up two desserts instead. They were okay, nothing out of this world, but the prices were fair. Overall, probably worth checking out if you're in the area & have the time, but I wouldn't wait that long again just for the desserts.

La Dispensa is a true hidden gem. I first discovered it thanks to my wife, whose office is nearby, & since then it has become one of my favorite spots. Their coffee is fantastic, probably some of the best around, & the sandwiches are always fresh & flavorful. The poulet Pane sandwich is on another level, the bread is perfectly crunchy yet light, & the quality for the price is unbeatable.

I go there several times a week, & I often recommend it to clients when they want a quick but excellent bite. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming, & even if it gets busy around lunch, it's worth the wait.

Great Coffee, & the sandwich I got it early (10h30) because I know how popular this place gets. I wasnt able to wait until noon to eat it. Gobbled it right up. The bread is crunchy & fresh, the ingredients amazing... & 10$! Amazing!

Avis 5 étoiles pour Dispensa - Un bijou italien en plein coeur du Vieux-Montréal

Si j'étais Italien, Dispensa serait une fierté nationale à lui seul. Mais comme je suis Montréalais, c'est un privilège d'avoir un tel commerce chez nous. Ce n'est pas juste une épicerie fine ou un comptoir gourmand, c'est une expérience culinaire qui nous transporte directement en Italie dès qu'on passe la porte. Avec des ragazzos souriants, aux yeux qui brillent. Avec des biscuits au chocolat fondants, aussi gros comme ma face.

L'accueil est chaleureux, authentique, humain. L'équipe est dirigée par de véritables passionnés qui savent ce qu'ils font & qui le font avec amour. La propreté irréprochable, la fraîcheur des ingrédients & surtout cette odeur en entrant… un pur bonheur qui évoque instantanément la dolce vita italienne.

& parlons des sandwichs : voyons donc!!! Jamais je n'ai mangé un sandwichs aussi bon, aussi bien fait, avec des produits d'une telle qualité. Les tranches de porc toutes minces étaient encore chaudes, & elles me fondaient dans la bouche. Le pain aussi!C'est simple à ma première bouchée, j'ai su que cet endroit deviendrait ma place. Je suis un fidèle depuis ce matin. Merci les boys! Vous contribuez au bonheur des Montréalais, & ça, ça n'a pas de prix. Grazie mille!

My wife & I went there today we picked up two Italian panettone's & had a excellent espresso from Anthony & a delicious porchetta sandwich made by Aldo, wow everything was spot on, the atmosphere was awesome, way to go guy's!! See you soon!!
