One of my favorite coffee shops in Montreal, the place is adorable with a variety of coffee options. I also adore their pastries - so delicious & fresh! I make it a point to visit at least once a week.

Après une longue journée bourrée d'activités, entre église, bénévolat, restaurant & magasinage, & proprement après une nuit écourtée de sommeil, l'idée d'une tasse de café s'était frayé un chemin jusqu'à notre centre des désirs. Importunément, une vingtaine de minutes se sont écoulées entre le moment où nous avons mis pied au Dispatch & celui où je marchais à petits pas feutrés tenant ma soucoupe à deux mains de crainte que quelques perles de mon latte franchissent le rebord de la tasse comble. Le récit veut que quelqu'un fût parti avec ma commande. Youpi. Il semble que je ne fus pas la seule « victime » d'une étourderie, car une autre dame avant moi a dû elle aussi préciser à nouveau qu'elle attendait sa boisson. Passons. Une fois assis, je me mets à contempler - dit sur un ton ironique - la finition contreplaquée des murs. Non, ce n'est pas invitant. Mon amie est du même avis. « Je n'aime pas ce genre d'endroit. » Moi non plus. Par contre, plusieurs étudiants avaient adopté l'endroit pour finir leurs projets universitaires. Il semble surtout avoir été conçu pour ça : sans distractions, sans bruits envahissants. En passant, le latte était correct. Le service aussi. On ne sentait pas l'envie de jaser, mais l'erreur, une fois signalée, a été rapidement corrigée.
