Brought my golden retriever Biscuit along a few days ago & was so relieved to find that the staff welcomed him without hesitation, even bringing out a little bowl of water without us asking. The espresso was genuinely excellent, one of the best I've had in the city, & I ended up staying way longer than planned just soaking in the relaxed vibe on their outdoor patio. The seating area outside is perfect for a morning visit when the street is still quiet & you can actually enjoy a conversation. If you have a dog & you've been hunting for a spot that doesn't just tolerate pets but actually seems happy to have them, this is it.

Love dispatch! Some of the best coffee in Montreal & the food is also great.

Ok, now to get down to the nitty gritty:
1. The espresso was ground to finely because there were a bit of grounds at the bottom of my cup (nothing crazy but worth mentioning).
2. The espresso was not dialed in properly, there was a bit of a burnt aftertaste.

All things that can be worked out, love the coffee, my go to place!

Best espresso I've had in Montreal. Tried crew's collective's espresso yesterday. Pretty sure they used a dark roast & espresso's probably not their forte. This joint on the other hand is a proper third wave coffee shop. Light roast, slow brew, top notch sweetness in their espressos. Just the right amount of acidity for my palette.
