What a cozy restaurant in Magog. Service was super friendly & efficient. I had the pan seared trout which was delicious! I would order it again!! Very nice vibe!

Beautiful location in Magog. The food was fabulous, my husband claimed the best burger he has ever had! The beer was great. A beautiful sunny day on the beautiful river. & our waitress was very friendly & helpful.

J'ai réservé 1 jour à l'avance & nous avons été placé à une table dans le passage qui mène à la cuisine pour les serveurs près du bar; vraiment désagréable. Lorsque j'ai demandé à la jeune fille qui nous plaçait d'avoir une autre table qui était libre, elle m'a répondu que cette table était déjà réservée. Cette table a finalement été occupée par 4 personnes pendant environ 30 minutes, le temps de prendre une bière. Lorsque j'ai relaté cette situation à mon serveur Pierre Luc, il m'a suggéré de mentionné lors de la prochaine réservation de ne pas être placé à cette table. Donc ce que je comprends, c'est que lorsque nous réservons à la Microbrasserie des Cantons il ne faut pas oublier la''demande spéciale'' de ne pas être placé à la table dans le passage que personne ne veut & que si ça ne fonctionne pas il faut partir tout simplement.
Je suis un nouveau résident de Magog, c'est la 4e fois que je vais à cet endroit & j'ai toujours été bien servis.
Wow! Ca fait tellement plaisir de découvrir ce nouveau resto de Magog complètement rénover! Nouveau menu tellement parfait! J'ai adoré les tacos & la qualité de l'Onglet était exceptionnel! Vraiment 10/10!! Bravo à toute l'équipe ! Magnifique soirée!
Hidden gem on the water.. great selection of beer to choose from on tap... sat outside & it was nicely covered... food was good along with the spirits.. good selection of signature cocktails to pick & enjoy.. great atmosphere to hang out in. Definitely must go check out if in Magog area worth the trip..
A tasty lunch in a lovely patio setting in Magog! The service was fantastic & the casual atmosphere was welcoming. The shrimp tacos were outstanding, & the calamari got rave reviews from our friend!
Superbe soirée improvisée! Réservation dernière minute & ils avaient de la place pour 5 personnes sur leur grande terrasse. La plus belle vue de Magog sans aucun doute ! Service excellent par Alexandre & tout le personnel en général ! Les pizzas étaient délicieuses, la salade césar grillée est un incontournable & la bavette aussi. Bref, nous y retournerons cet été !!!
The food at Des Cantons Microbrasserie in Magog is fantastic! We enjoyed the ribs & burgers, & they were delicious, meeting all our expectations. However, we were surprised by the beer on tap (Back Country), which tasted very different from their canned beers sold in stores. It wasn't bad, but the flavor profile was so different that I double-checked to make sure it was the right beer. It was. Unfortunately, it took 1 hour & 30 minutes to receive our main dishes, even though the restaurant wasn't full. It was frustrating to see other patrons, who arrived after us, getting their food before us. Our waiter eventually admitted he had forgotten our order & had just put it in. As compensation, we were promised that our two entrées would be on the house. However, we only received one of them-the crispy cheese, which was good. The other entrée, the "crevettes bang bang," never arrived, which was disappointing as we were looking forward to it. In the end, we were compensated with one entrée, one beer, & soft drinks for the kids. Despite the wait & the service hiccups, the food was delicious & worth it. Most servers seemed to be avoiding patrons, & we noticed from their expressions that many were also tired of waiting. This wasn't a major issue for us as we were able to enjoy the nice weather by the water while we waited. Management should ensure there are enough staff to avoid such situations in the future, as not everyone may be as patient. Despite the service issues, we loved the experience & will definitely return. The beer from Des Cantons is excellent, & we want to continue supporting this local business. Sometimes service lapses happen, & I hope management takes steps to improve. The staff seemed stressed & were doing their best with limited resources. We hope for better service next time.
J'ai adoré mon expérience à ce restaurant. Le personnel était super, une ambiance parfaite & que dire de la bouffe, les portions sont généreuses & c'était délicieux! Je recommande à tous d'y aller lors d'un séjour à Magog! Vous n'allez pas le regretter!
