A cute little spot, hidden away from the main pedestrian area. The service was quick & friendly & there was plenty of outdoor seating available in the late afternoon.
Grabbed a cheeseburger, potatoes with Chipotle mayo & a green salad, & a Powermade lemonade.
The cheeseburger was tasty, but the meat was on the dry side. The potatoes were tasty & moist & the salad was really good. The lemonade was very pleasant (homemade iced tea with hibiscus, green tea, lemon & apple juice).
Was a bit disappointed with the burger, but will come back to try some of the other sandwiches.

Très bon burger/sandwich style coréen (poulet grillé avec du gochujang, sésame, kimchi). Prix raisonnable. Service adéquat. L'endroit est étroit mais cozy, & certainement populaire. Il y a avait une file de gens qui attendaient. Donc, garde à vous sur l'heure du midi en semaine.
I recently visited Le Pick Pick Up after not being there for a couple of years, & unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing (Order#173270-01). I went in to grab some food to go, but when I got home, I immediately noticed the portion sizes were significantly smaller than I remembered, & the prices were much higher.
The vegan pulled pork sandwich, in particular, was not up to par. The VPP sandwich had a burnt taste that wasn't enjoyable-definitely not the quality I expected. I also ordered the Grand Patate, which at $7, seemed more like a regular serving of potatoes rather than a generous portion. The only item that was alright was the Big Bernie Mac.
To top it off, I paid $1 for mayo, but it was missing from my order entirely. The lack of attention to detail made the experience frustrating.
Overall, I spent $41 on a sandwich, a burger, & some potatoes, & frankly, it just didn't feel worth it.

Live next door so i always come. Best sandwiches i know. Get the cuban or the halloumi & thank me later. Lots of vegan options too that are delicious (especially the vegan seoul one or the vegan burgers). Can't get enough of this place!! I come with my dogs & sit outside in the summer. (sometimes you have to wait for a table though it can get busy). To avoid waiting in line I call beforehand to place my order.
Je mets rarement 5* mais pour le coup de petit dep est particulierement appliqué sur la qualité de ses burgers. J'ai passé ici mon meilleur repas fast food de Montréal. Compter environ 15 doll par burger (avec Tax).

Mur de briques terreux, vitres grillées, enseigne discrète suspendue à une barre métallique ; les traits anonymes du dépanneur Le Pick Up recèlent une oasis où le voyageur vient apaiser sa faim &, je dirais même plus, mettre son estomac en joie. Sa beauté est jalousement gardée des regards indiscrets, même une fois aux portes du gîte. Il faut écarter un rideau de tissu pour enfin apercevoir un microcosme chamarré grouillant de vie. L'effet-surprise est sûrement délibéré & stimule l'appétit. La courte carte en papier du restaurant, tachetée d'huile, présente sobrement les mets élaborés derrière le comptoir. Conformément à mes principes, je prends conseil sur la meilleure façon de créer pour mon amie & moi le plus goûteux des festins. La communication est un peu laborieuse au départ en raison du bruit & de mes lèvres engourdies par le vent, finit par se stabiliser. Nous nous mettons d'accord sur le menu : un sandwich au porc effiloché, un au haloum grillé, un burger « Le Pick Up », un grand bol de patates & une petite « Salade verte parfaite ». Une salade dans un repaire de hamburgers ? Oui, monsieur ! & débordante de saveur, par-dessus le marché ! J'en aurais volontiers pris une autre portion. Les patates, tendre & sagement assaisonnée, accompagnaient aussi parfaitement le repas. J'ai fortement apprécié le sandwich au haloum grillé & au porc effiloché à coup de « mmm, mmm, mmm », & le hambourgeois n'était pas mal non plus. Deux peignes géants roses, disposés en miroir, constituent la marque distinctive décorative des lieux. Leur fonction est de... faire jaser ! & vendre des gaminets. Si vous êtes un fervent amateur de vos sandwichs au Dépanneur, vous pourriez repartir avec un gaminet noir - identique à celui du serveur - rehaussé de deux paires de peignes blancs. Pourquoi ? Encore une fois, surtout pour faire jaser, ou encore pour montrer que vous avez très bon goût en termes de sandwichs.

Sans doute un endroit qui mériterait de rester secret tellement on ne voudrait pas que ça change, que l'accueil & l'ambiance se dénature .
Accueil toujours sympathique bien que se soit toujours plein, je mange là régulièrement pour la bouffe (ils ont un burger au faux porc à essayer absolument), & cette ambiance un peu "étrange", décalée, avec toujours de la bonne musique.
Oui, ça fait beaucoup de toujours, je sais. Mais vraiment c'est un coup de coeur ce petit endroit.
I won't even try to dress it up - there was nothing particularly stellar, overwhelmingly tasty or special about our BLT & fish burger. Super basic in concept, execution, & flavour. In other words, completely in keeping with what these folks seem to be all about: nothing gimmicky, just exactly what you'd expect to eat on a picnic table behind an actual fully-stocked Dep. that happens to have a grill behind the till.
