I wanted to like this place sooo bad! I took my whole family to try despite the low reviews thinking'it can't be that bad! Look how nice the pastries look'. Welp, I hate to admit it, the low ratings are a fair evaluation. The desserts themselves are dry, little taste, & look old when served? Coffees were disappointing, my 9 year old said her hot chocolate was just foamed milk (then again she's 9). Finally, for me the service was the most off putting thing. There was a server trying to tell people to make a line but in the most cahotic & none friendly way, made the experience really uncomfortable. Overall, I had high hopes, it looked like a lovely addition to royalmount but frankly not worth the stop, & don't even get me started on the price…..

Café très agréable, nous y sommes allés en famille un dimanche en fin de matinée. La jeune fille qui nous a servis était adorable & très souriante. Merci beaucoup. Nous avons passé un moment très agréable.

Coffees tasted burnt, the opera cake was dry had a distinct freezer taste & tasted old. But the service was ok.

For that price, not worth it.

You only pay for the atmosphere & beautiful design of the pastries.
Service is horrible & the pastries are very average & price, not worth spending $15 on a small pastry 🙄

It's a beautiful establishment, but the coffee & everything about it is just awful! The staff doesn't know how to make coffee. They spoon milk into their cappuccino! The coffee tastes burnt! Please hire a good barista.

Julian has served us many times, he has expertise on what cake you would like & drink. Serves with grace & professionalism. The desserts & drinks are very tasty get served by the guy with the long ponytail guy! He's awesome!

Worth the hype for the quality of the pastries. Gorgeously prepared & wonderful quality. Only downside: it's smack in the middle of the mall & it's always way too busy. Good system for quick service though & staff is friendly. Would go again.
