Conveniently located on the ground floor of the mall, so it's very easy to find & reach.
The place itself looks beautiful - stylish, fancy, modern, & very Instagrammable. The presentation definitely makes a good first impression, & the staff were polite & friendly.
Unfortunately, the overall experience was quite chaotic. The ordering system could be organized much better: first you need to find a seat, then stand in line to order & pay, & after that wait again. It felt like we were constantly waiting for something rather than simply enjoying the café.
The cappuccino was good, but the desserts were disappointing. They look beautiful, but they are very small, & the amount of filling inside is tiny. We tried a dessert described as dark chocolate with raspberry, but it tasted more like mousse with a little jelly rather than a proper chocolate dessert. The chocolate itself didn't taste particularly high-quality either. White chocolate peach was also average & disappointing. For a place that presents itself as a premium pâtisserie, I expected much better quality & more professional pastry-making. It looks much more impressive than it tastes.
Service organization was another issue. We visited on a Sunday around 3 p.m., & there was no manager available. When we asked to speak with one, we ended up waiting around 30 minutes & nobody showed up.
✨ My Experience with Delysées Luxury Desserts
These pastries are absolutely stunning-each one has that perfect glossy finish, neat decorations, & looks like it was crafted by hand with so much care! You can see different styles here: rich chocolate, vibrant pistachio, bright fruity flavors, all paired with their signature beautiful plating & matching craft cocktails.
When you try them, the taste lives up to the look! The mousses are light & silky, the crusts have just the right crunch, & the sweetness is balanced perfectly-not overwhelming at all. Having them with a drink makes the whole experience feel like a little luxury treat. It's clear they put so much thought into every detail, from flavor combinations to presentation. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who loves fine desserts!
It feels like we are in a fancy restaurant in Paris. The décor is calming & comfortable. The staff are all well dressed & very courteous. It is on the pricey side but you pay for the quality. My chocolate cake was so delicious!! It was small but so fulfilling.
tried the vegan marais, which is a rich chocolate mousse. while it was pleasing, i was disappointed by the lack of a brittle exterior; a common & expected hallmark of trompe-l'oeils. while i appreciate the effort to offer vegan options, i would not return for this one given its high price point, particularly in relation to its small portion size. it would be great to see a wider variety of vegan desserts on the menu, including cakes!
Glad I tried it, but not worth the prize (at least for vegan pastries). There are two vegan pastries, one coconut chocolate & the othe blueberry chocolate. They are essentially both chocolate mouse with the coconut one having a good smount of coconut shred in the interior & rolled in coconut , & the blueberry one had a compote of blueberries which I didn't really like the texture. The chocolate mousse was really good. It's just nott worth 15$ a pastry. I was expecting a more intricate entremet for that price with a cake layer, a crunchy part, & a cremeux.
I can't say it's bad, because it tastes good & not too sweet, but wouldn't pay for it again.
Venue was clean, staff was nice. Package to go is beautiful.
Second visit to this store & it did not disappoint!! I tried the Nutella latte & the triple chocolate cake. Chocolate overloaaddd but so worth it!! Came by around lunchtime & it wasn't too busy, which made it even better.
I wanted to like this place sooo bad! I took my whole family to try despite the low reviews thinking'it can't be that bad! Look how nice the pastries look'. Welp, I hate to admit it, the low ratings are a fair evaluation. The desserts themselves are dry, little taste, & look old when served? Coffees were disappointing, my 9 year old said her hot chocolate was just foamed milk (then again she's 9). Finally, for me the service was the most off putting thing. There was a server trying to tell people to make a line but in the most cahotic & none friendly way, made the experience really uncomfortable. Overall, I had high hopes, it looked like a lovely addition to royalmount but frankly not worth the stop, & don't even get me started on the price…..
A mi me encantó el chocolate y pistache
Buen café, detalles muy lindos. Todo es hermoso para un momento agradable. Muy limpio y repostería fina, los precios un poco elevados pero la experiencia lo vale.
Si volvería claro!
Stopped by Delysées for a quick caffeine fix & ended up staying way longer than planned. The presentation here is just 10/10-even the lattes come in these gorgeous textured cups with gold spoons. We split a few things, & that chocolate striped croissant was incredibly flaky. The staff were really welcoming & didn't make us feel rushed, even though it was starting to get busy. It's one of those spots where you almost feel bad eating the food because it looks so perfect, but it tastes even better. Definitely a top-tier vibe for a weekend hang.
I was really looking forward to trying Delysees at Royal Mount Mall, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. We ordered a dark chocolate dessert that was extremely dense & unpleasant-definitely not worth the high price. On top of that, the coffee was underwhelming. Overall, very overpriced for the quality.
