We ordered ENDLESS SUMMER BREAKFAST & PANCAKES. In my opinion both were pricy based on portion. Even coffee we ordered was pricy too! I ordered americano which was served in almost espresso size! The endless summer breakfast was served with only one egg (& one dough) for $22.99!! Also, you should pay extra for a pinch of pistachio & extra sweet syrup for your pancake for $7! (No fruits)View more

We celebrated Mother's Day with a delightful brunch at this restaurant, choosing from a spread that included Mushroom Toast, Ricotta Pancakes, & the Endless Summer Breakfast, with extra Crispy Bacon ordered at an additional cost. Each dish was beautifully prepared, & the uniquely unsalty, beef jerky-like bacon, though pricier, was definitely worth trying. The quality of the food & the warm, friendly service from the staff made our special day even more enjoyable.View more

Notre premier petit déjeuner à Montréal & c'était très bon ! Nous avons eu un peu de queue en arrivant mais nous avons dû patienter 20 min tout au plus. Accueil chaleureux & plat savoureux. On sent que tous les produits sont de qualité & c'est agréable. On a particulièrement apprécié les pancakes à la ricotta qui étaient accompagné d'un sirop d'érable très bon. I went for brunch & the brunch menu was simple, but very original, sophisticated & delicious with good portions. There were three of us & I ordered the yummy salad which is fantastic & definitely filling.. my friends' orders included the pancakes & the fried chicken. Wow, both amazing as I got to sample theirs as well. The service was impeccable. The atmosphere is lively ands bustling but we could hear each other talk. It said it would be 20 to 40 estimated price however I found it to be more in the $40-$60 range. Each person if you include drinks & tips. So more steep price than the usual brunch, nevertheless, I highly recommend this place for brunch. It's too bad they don't take reservations because I would go there a lot more. PS, the mimosas & margaritas are wonderful. We didn't have any desserts, but I can tell you looking at it, it looked good.View more

Dandy is a super popular breakfast/brunch resto in Old Montreal that fills up very, very quickly. A small bakery window faces a rectangular eating area fronted by a large arch & backed by an even larger window facing St. Jacques street. The menu itself is relatively limited with seven options listed (along with a few sides & whatever is available at the baked good counter at the front), but there is something for everyone...sweet, savory, breakfast item or lunch. For our meal we ordered the Ricotta Pancakes (good but a little on the dry side, although the maple syrup mix at the bottom of the dish was quite nice) & Mushroom Toast (also good, savory & large) coupled with the baked Butter Tart (yummy...you can never go wrong with a butter tart). Service was friendly & efficient with the meal coming out promptly (although we were one of the firsts to get our order in). NOTE: The restaurant opens at 10am & the line starts to build at 9:45am, if not earlier, so if you arrive at around 10:15 then expect to wait 45 minutes until the tables turn & new patrons are cycled through. We finally got around to trying @dandy.mtl to see if it lived up to the hype. They don't take reservations but we only waited about 15 minutes at 10:45am, not too bad. We were served extremely quickly & ordered delicious, satisfying, Ricotta Pancakes covered in luscious syrup & the buttermik fried chicken sandwich featuring some of the best crispy, delectable fried chicken we've ever had. We washed this down with a delightful maple latté. We finished & were driving home by 11:30am. We don't eat slow but, while everything was excellent (service included), we did feel the overall atmosphere is fast paced & a little rushed. Personally, the opposite of the feeling we want on a Sunday morning but food-wise, yes, it does live up to the hype.View more

We came here for brunch as we had read about the pancakes. We came on a weekday, so just the standard toppings for the pancakes were available. While we were initially disappointed, when it came out there was nothing to be disappointed about! They were amazing. We would definitely recommend coming here if you're having a craving for some great pancakes. We also had the maple oat latte, which was delish too.View more

I absolutely loved my experience! The service was amazing, the servers are so welcoming & sweet. I went to this restaurant specifically to get the pancakes with the strawberries on top, but I think they only offer that when they're in season, so instead they offer apples on top. Other than that, it was amazing! I went on a Wednesday at around 12:50/1:00 & there was not a line. Bacon was so good!View more

Went here as our first official restaurant meal as husband & wife! & what a great decision. My pancakes were perfectly moist & buttered (look at the layers!!!) & they accommodated my request to add on their earl grey mascarpone (a must). My partners salad was delicious & filled with texture & flavours. My only nitpicky thing is that the restaurant is quite small & all the tables were quite snug together so it felt like I was dining with six instead of just us two hahaView more

Cute place in Old Port. It's wasn't too busy. We got a table the second we got in. I'm not gonna lie I came for the pancakes. I was told they were the boom. Com!!! We had the avocado toast & the pancakes for dessert. Good portions!! As for the pancakes, they were OK. I cant say they were the best I ever 6. The fluffiness was missing for me but overall. We happened to come across this restaurant while visiting Montreal & were rewarded for it. I had the chicken sandwich & my friend had the ricotta pancakes, both were WONDERFUL! Recommend the pancakes with bacon 🥓 + a brown butter tart (wow!) for early breakfast.
Clearly a crowd pleaser with both local & tourist following, a place to be seen.
