Dandy is one of those places where everything just feels right. The chai latte was smooth & full of flavor cozy in the best way. The pancakes were light, fluffy, & honestly hard to forget.
The space is beautiful without trying too hard, & the staff made the whole experience feel even warmer.

Walked in & immediately loved the vibe of Dandy. The food was OUT of this world, so much flavor, beautiful presentation. Get the ricotta pancakes & the side of potatoes, it's a must.

There's a line here for good reason. The food is excellent as is the service for a spot so busy. We had Caesars to start followed by the Chicken Sandwich, Ricotta Pancakes & fingerling potatoes. Everything was fabulous.

I was a bit hesitant because of previous reviews about it being very busy, but I'm so glad I tried my luck! The seasonal pancakes were delicious! The service was great too. It is on the pricier side though (compared to other possible options in the area). If you enjoy sweet & tangy flavors I recommend this plate. I paired it with a side of bacon.View more

I really loved eating at dandy! My family wants to go again asap. The food was delicious & had giant portions-we didn't finish it all. The fingerling potatoes with aioli were incredibly crispy, salty, & tangy in all the right ways. The pancakes were simple, but done well. They were so thick & soft & the thick caramel syrup with the bitter ricotta cream was delicious. The fried chicken sandwhich was huge & juicy. It could use some hot sauce! Finally, the italiano was classic & delicious. Drinks were good too! There was a long line out the door, though, so don't show up starving.View more

The place is really pretty & definitely Instagram-worthy, which probably explains the huge line outside when we were leaving. But honestly, I don't really get the hype. It was super loud & felt a bit chaotic, & we ended up waiting quite a while.
I had the pancakes, & they were just okay-not the best I've had, & pretty heavy. I wasn't a fan of the coffee either. Some of the other food looked really good, so maybe we just didn't order the right things, but overall it wasn't worth the wait for me. Probably wouldn't go back.View more

The place opens up at 10 am & glad we made it in time for the last seat at the opening right after there was a super long line of folks waiting to get seated for over 30 mins!!
We tried all their popular ones - ricotta pancakes , mushroom toast & the avocado toast all of them are surprisingly tasty & filling it sure was a good call.View more

Dandy's is was so bomb! Worth every penny & every minute of the wait!Every bite was exceptional, from the crispy fried chicken burger to the rich aioli that perfectly complemented the golden potatoes. The service was impeccable, & our food arrived so quick.
The ricotta pancakes were so delicious, I couldn't resist scraping up every last drop of maple syrup with my spoon! If you haven't tried Dandy's yet- you're missing out. We're already counting down the days until we can come back!View more

My pictures are so bad 😭😭 they do not capture how amazing this food was. Pro tip: you can put the fried chicken on the ricotta pancakes for a chicken&waffle type meal. The ricotta pancakes SLAPPED. The endless summer breakfast was good but just make it at home. The 5 stars is all because of the ricotta pancakes they're amazing. Go for that only & eat at home if you're still hungryView more

I think it's seasonal, or a current special but they need to keep it on their permanent menu. Their tiramisu latte was divine! Perfect in every way. The ricotta pancakes is also a must - make sure to get it fully loaded! They don't take reservations, so best time to get seated is at opening!View more

Top notch brunch spot. This is the type of place where you should share dishes so you can try more items & mix sweet & savoury. All 3 items we ordered were homeruns: ricotta pancakes with the special garnish, mushroom toast, fingerling potatoes. The mushroom toast is notable. Awesome brunch spot in Montreal... would definitely come here again, whenever back in town. Food: Mushroom Toast - 5/5 I ordered the mushroom toast, & everyone at my table looked at it with admiration as it arrived at the table. Did I share a few bites? Yes... but did I want to? No. Just kidding, but it really is that good if you like mushrooms.. don't think twice! Pancakes - 4/5 - I really liked these, but I did think these were a little overhyped, wouldn't necessarily get it again with the mushroom toast as a different option on the menu.. the party I was with did all really like them though. Service - 5/5 - The waiter we had, I believe an Indian man, was so patient & helpful. Our table was quite rowdy in the restaurant, ordering shots during brunch & being loud, but he was so patient, kind, & helpful... hats off to this guy for dealing with all of us, haha. Ambiance - 4/5 - Nice atmosphere, & we got a round table, which was nice because we were all able to face each other & chat... it actually made a big difference, because I was meeting some people for the first time here, & I noticed that key difference with ease of socializing. I had pancakes, bacon & the crispy potatoes - overall VERY GOOD! 2 small critiques; i would consider adding an element of salt to the pancakes or syrup, even a touch of smoked maldon on top The pancakes were great, but flavors were falling a little flat that would elevate everything. 2nd - invest in some better quality bacon! This is cheap diner bacon. A thicker cut, or braised pork belly bacon would be more flavorful & match the menu better in my opinion. ALSO! it's a girl in the kitchen with safety pins in her ears.......TOTAL BADASS AT HER JOB! She is encouraging with her team, she challenges them, she's got an edge & not afraid to use it, all while still being respectful! If you haven't guessed it, I'm a chef & she is a gem compared to what you will typically find in the kitchen. 1 more thing, keep the floor swept where geusts can see, was a bit of an eyesore.View more
