To my surprise, the manager stepped in without hesitation, using her own card to cover the rest of the bill. It wasn't just about the money it was the kindness & generosity behind her gesture that truly touched me. In a world where people can often be in a hurry, she reminded me that genuine kindness still exists. I left not only full from the delicious pizza, but also with my heart warmed by her beautiful act.
We went to this restaurant on Saturday night during the Italian week & yes the street was full of people. The terrace at this restaurant was packed with a lineup, we decided to sit inside. I spoke to the lady in charge & she found us a table. Then the a person came & gave us a menu. It didn't take us long to decide what we wanted & told this person it would be a wood oven pizza. (40$) She informed us that it would take 10 minutes! She left & went elsewhere in the restaurant. Ambiance was so,so well lite up & people sitting at tables chit chatting. The pizza oven was full speed ahead. Pizzas were going in & out like it was going out of style. We continued waiting & the lady wasn't coming by. No glasses of water nothing. I got up went to the front & told the lady that we needed glasses & water. She pointed to a tray of glasses & said water would come. Never did till the end. The person we thought was a waiter turned out to be the manager (Ellie)& really didn't know what she was doing. She was lost talking to anyone while carrying someone's drink 🍹 in her hand. I asked her the pizza 🍕 was & she said it's coming now. This was 20 minutes later. She arrived with a pizza, but it was the wrong order. Said oops & went back to the oven. 20 minutes later I got up & went to the oven, just as the pizza came out. Still no water or ice. We had to order a bottle of bubbly to get by. The pizza was nothing fantastic for the money we paid. The sauce tasted like it was from a can & unfortunately the veggies were not cooked well. We managed to get a waiter (Brian) from another section to help us out & he was great. Got us water & kept filling up the glasses with ice. When he confronted the manager she blasted him & said she didn't know what she was doing. Finally a confession!! Our ordeal was because of her. If you see her change tables or do what a full table did. Walk out!!
Wow, the waitress also manager & owner sucked !! I know it was Italian week festival but as professionals you should be prepared … she originally told us 10 for our order , then she brought water & forgot the glasses , another 15m wait for them , then forgot the pizza , then' n 2 tables walked out totalling about 20 people .. then she brought pizza & no extra plates to share .. basically she would bring 1 item at a time & forgetting the rest !!!! A real flake !!
Thank his for Brian who made up for alll her mistakes !! He should be the manger !! People skills , kind & honest !! Well we have him a nice tip … we will not be going back … the manager/owner , she should go take some courses on human dynamics & relations.. not to mention professionalism!! The pizza was nothing special .. sauce is canned !! What a shame for little Italy , great location with so much more potential !!
To the owners clean up your act , if you want to succeed , because many people were complaining & this not only Italian week festival!!!!!
Belle découverte! Un petit vendredi spontané dans la petite Italie. Nous avons mangé calmars & pizza, mais nous revenons certainement pour un steak. Excellent service de la part de Tanyel.
Had a great experience here! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The service throughout was excellent! I ordered the steak, & it was cooked to perfection juicy, flavorful, & exactly how I asked. We also tried the firewood pizza, & it was absolutely amazing-crispy crust, delicious toppings, & that smoky flavor from the wood oven really set it apart. Highly recommend this place!
Excellente scalopine al limone & pizza super bonne, la pâte fine & moelleuse, cuite au feu de bois un régal 👍 Un accueil chaleureux grâce à Simon qui nous a conseillé & servi avec professionnalisme & sympathie. Une nouvelle équipe, nouvelle carte aussi so pour nous, c'est encore mieux qu'avant! Longue vie a Pomodoro ! À bientôt
Hier soir nous allés souper à ce restaurant. Nous sommes tous les quatres d'accord à afficher notre pleine satisfaction pour cette belle expérience. L'acceuil & le service courtois tout au long du repas ont contribué au succès, le menu varié & la qualité des repas servis ont répondus à nos attentes. Les pizzas four à bois sont succulentes. Nous recommandons vivement & y retournerons.

Quel belle experience! Tres beau restaurant. Grillages, pizza four a bois mets italien tous est tres bon. Que dire du service un Simon à l'écoute de ses clients, très bon conseillé & je crois que j'aurais encore plus apprécié mon expérience si j'avais suivi toutes ses suggestion. Au Menu nous avons pris entré de tartare de boeuf (texture & goût ecoeurant) les saucisses faites maison servi avec un espèece de choucroute maison (wow!) repas de veau & picanha cuisson parfaite.
dessert de tiramtsu excellent! J'ai découvert ce restaurant qui vaut le détour & chez qui je me ferai un plaisir d'y retourner. Félicitation au chef pour son excellente cuisine & encore merci a Simon pour cette très belle soirée!
Do not confuse this restaurant with the former Pomodoro at the same address. Besides pizza & Italian fare they are a steakhouse. The service is 1st class as is the food. Their prices for a meal start around $20 & go up. Definitely worth a visit.
We have had so amazing hospitality. In a word, fantastic! Friendly environment. Staff were so aware whether we are having a appropriate service or not. Among our family, we have had some Pizzas cooked from wood burning oven which was delicious. Also, steak was just eye catching. Amazing! Thank you Pomodoro!
Since the restaurant changed owner it became an amazing place to eat! Proficient stuff in the kitchen, especially when it comes to stakes. Great job! However, pizza needs some improvements to make it really Italian
I order a pizza(wood oven pizza) & a steak, food was amazing, the service was also really good . I recommend this restaurant to every one, I brought my family & the experience was just amazing, try it!
