Ordered through DoorDash for the first time yesterday & was really impressed with the quality!
I don't usually go for veggie dishes, but they absolutely nailed every single one-especially the eggplant with potatoes, which became an instant favorite.
One note: I was hoping to try the fried pork after seeing so many great reviews, but it wasn't available on the delivery app. Not sure if that's intentional or just temporary, but since I rarely get to go downtown, I'd love to see it added to the delivery menu sometime soon!Voir plus
Do yourself a favor & come here to eat anytime you have a chance! This place is absolutely amazing, has super delicious food & it's sooo cheap, the price is literally unbeatable! The portions are big & filling, delicious, & you can take it home if you accidentally ordered too much! The fried Cantonese noodles are amazing, as well as the pork belly.Voir plus
Excellent all around. The fried ice cream hits different. It is a must try.Voir plus
Food, service, & atmosphere were 5 stars. Got the beef & broccoli + pork & shrimp fried rice, both were great, but the beef & broccoli exceeded all expectations. Prices were very good as wellVoir plus
Very good food in town, very reasonable price considering the downtown location. liked dry fried greenbeans, sweet & spicy eggplant, & broccoli with beef very much, not so much on the cumin beef & noodle salad though.Voir plus
Visited AuntDai at the tail end of a trip to Montreal when we were craving some Asian cuisine. We had the hot & sour soup, wonton soup, Cantonese fried noodles & seafood & tofu wok. The latter was excellent; the noodles were good but I was expecting some of the noodles to be soft or moist, but they were all crispy. Not a deal breaker, but not what I was used to or expecting. Flavours were great overall - definitely adapted to western tastes but still very tasty. The space is nice & comfortable & the staff were friendly. Definitely worth a visit.Voir plus
The food is amazing here! Very authentic, tasty Chinese food with great portions. I've been twice & both times have been consistent, no matter what you order. The beef & broccoli has a light savoury flavour, & is not greasy at all with lots of crunchy fresh broccoli. The stir fried pork intestines come with onions, spicy green pepper, onions & carrots, & has a great spicy seasonings with numby peppercorns. The intestines are cooked & cleaned very well, no stinky flavours at all. The braised pork belly is always tender & flavourful, & the sweet potato noodles soak up the sauce very nicely. Each bowl of rice is only $1.50! All in all, very tasty & generous portions at affordable prices. Each dish ranges from $10-20 (even the seafood). Highly recommended, great for sharing dishes & family friendly environment.Voir plus
Shout out to Aunt Dai who celebrated 10 years yesterday & surprised us with a free dinner! Our favourite Chinese food in Montreal. The best! Dry fried green beans & sweet & spicy eggplant, YUM!Voir plus
Tasty Chinese dishes, nice staff, fast service, & very reasonable prices. We usually take a main dish, with a bowl of steamed rice, & then share a plate of sauté vegetable to share. & a bottle of saki to share. I recommend 2 side dishes toi absolutely try with your meal: dry-fried green beans, & eggplant dish.Voir plus
I eat at Aunt Dai several times a year. The food & the service is top notch; I recommend going to eat at the restaurant in person, since they offer more dishes in house. The pricing & portions are reasonable, which is why I find myself coming back to this place repeatedly. My favourite dish is the fried fish in tomato sauce. It's always super light & crispy, & the sauce is a perfect mixture of sweet & savoury. If you like General Tao (which is also excellent at Aunt Dai), you'll love the fish with tomato sauce. A special shoutout to the owner & the team. They operate with a high degree of integrity & transparency; not only is this refreshing to see but is exemplified in the quality of their food. Hats off to Aunt Dai!Voir plus
Really disappointed after reading such stellar reviews. Won ton soup was mid, weird taste I couldn't put my finger on, rolls were tiny, fried rice was bland, Singapour noodles were ok, not very curryish, & ginger beef was also bland. Overall, for a 95$ tab, nothing really stood out & would not eat again.Voir plus
