Their croissants are indeed really good. Buttery, big, flaky, & fresh! I also got a cinnamon roll here which was also so so good! Literally when you walk to the door you can smell the bakery. The location itself is simple, but the pastries are amazing. Highly highly recommend as they are up there with the best croissants in all of Montréal from Boulangerie de Froment & de Sève bakery.View more
Love this place! Found it through a Google search when looking for the best croissants in NDG, & decided to try it out. We were not disappointed: got the nutella croissant, raspberry croissant, chocolatine, ham croissant, & two lattes, & all of it was so damned good! This is the sort of bakery/cafe that is the best of what Montreal's food scene has to offer, friendly staff who served me in both languages, a pleasant & comfortable space to sit & eat, & wonderful food.View more
This is the BEST patisserie & boulangerie we have been to! The staff is very friendly....& the pastries? Out of this world! The croissant almande! The croissant framboise! Crazy good! Everything we had was incredible. & the prices are very fair!View more

A great visit for extended family attending a graduation in Montréal. A mixture of savory & sweet between the seven of us & each was excellent! My croque monsieur was delicious! We sampled apple & raspberry tarts, eclairs & croissants. Simply amazing.View more
Great croissants & savoury treats at an excellent price. Staff are extremely friendly & warm up pastries if requested. Their POS machine also doesn't ask for tips which I'm very happy to see! This has become rare even for counter service establishments.View more
The best croissant place in the town. Line up everyday.View more
The best butter croissants I've had out of the 5-6 most popular bakeries in Montreal. Their croissants are flaky, buttery, & so airy. I also tried their almond croissants & they are pretty good too, the only thing is the almond crust on the top makes them a little sweeter than my liking. Quiche is alright- I've had better.View more
I absolutely love this little bakery! The croissants are delicious (the raspberry one is out of this world), as are their chocolatines & fresh bread.View more

View more
About to bake our frozen croissants now m! Always a weekend Favorite on a snowy morning.View more
This is a darling, local gem! The croissants are the perfect blend of sweet & savory. Many bakeries just add a ton of sugar to make up for a lack of complexity or sometimes overdo it on both. Yet, Croissant Monkland strikes the balance. It's always nice to stop in, but I'm a bit of a ways away & order online once a week. Online orders are quick & consistent, only twice has an order been screwed up but even then, still delicious. Highly recommend - especially if you're a chocolate lover: the chocolatine aumande croissants are dangerous!View more
Great croissants & bread with a variety of selection. Highly recommend the almond & the Nutella croissants.View more

It’s been a couple of years since I started going there now. I really like the location; it’s a nice place. However, I still find that some of the pastries are too sweet for my taste. For example, the Nutella Croissant has too much Nutella, making it overly sweet. I find the same thing with the blueberry croissants. They have generous fillings, but it’s just too much sweetness for me. Perhaps other people love it, though. The bread tastes very good, just like in Paris. The staff changes often, but they are all pretty nice.View more
You won't find a better croissant in Montreal - you'd have to go to Paris. & even then...View more
