On a essayé la chocolatine, le croissant aux framboises & plusieurs kouing-amann variés. Tout était excellent, frais & surtout, très garni ! J'y retournerai définitivement.View more
✨ Hidden Gem Worth Every Bite! 🥐💸
I stumbled on this place by pure chance while staying at an Airbnb just a 15-minute walk away. One evening, I was browsing Google Maps to see what was around-& this spot instantly caught my eye. Intrigued, I had to check it out… & I'm so glad I did!
I was in Montreal for 5 days, & once I discovered this place & tried their goodies, I couldn't stay away. I came back every single day-no shame! 😋
My girlfriend & I probably spent around $350 during our stay (& yes, they absolutely deserved every cent). The pastries are next-level delicious. I seriously wish I had two stomachs. 😂
⭐ Top recommendation: the almond croissant-pure heaven! 🥐✨ To this day, I still haven't found a better one anywhere.
Do yourself a favor: GO HERE. SPEND YOUR MONEY. WORTH. EVERY. PENNY. 🙌💯View more
Croissant Monkland sells some of the best bread in the neighborhood, which is why I try to go there. Alas, they have two widely-spaced steps in front of the store. This is a barrier for me -- I need a walker to get around. There is a railing, which helps. I try to go with a friend, who can hold the spring-loaded door open while I struggle with the walker.
They offer pastries, both savory & sweet, & very pleasant light lunches.View more
Top tier croissants, one of the best in town. Absolutely recommend the almond croissants. The raspberry croissants are also quite good.View more
We ordered:
Pizza
Panini with chicken, bacon, tomato, & cheese
Croissant with spinach omelette
Chocolate cake
Café latte
Iced black hot chocolate
We ate everything in the store, but it was too hot inside.
They heated up the food before serving. I had the croissant, chocolate cake, & café latte. Everything was so delicious! The croissant was bigger than ones from other bakeries.
The prices were also very reasonable.View more
Funny, ive known this place for years driving without stopping. Man! I should've stopped before. Their croissants are fantastic! I recommend this place highly!View more
Did something change recently? I love the croissants but my purchase this weekend left me surprised. I felt I bought a dozen Costco croissants! Maybe an off day?View more
Tried this place on the recommendation of my coworker & turns out a pretty amazing place for croissants. Honestly love their cheese croissantView more
Ok I will tell.others that Croissant is the best place for coffee & croissantView more
I highly recommend Croissant Monkland. Their croissants (by far the best ones in NDG), pastries, pies, cakes... are just'super delicious'! & try also their divine'crème brûlée'!!! Staff is great & you will not find better prices for this quality in the entire hood. Long live Croissant Monkland, the best bakery in NDG!View more
Best croissant in NDG & I dare say, in Montreal!!! LOVE this NDG treasure!View more
There was still a variety of items available when I visited around 12:30 pm on a Tuesday, though they were running low on a few things. I got the chocolate eclair & the almond croissant.
Chocolate eclair: The ganache on top was fantastic, but the chocolate filling didn't taste like anything, & it was grainy. The choux itself was too soggy. Pretty disappointing overall, wouldn't recommend.
Almond croissant: This was fan-freakin-tastic. It was definitely a few hours old at this point since it was one of only a few left, but magically IT WAS STILL CRISPY & FLAKY. That crust on top, the moist interior, the flavor of the almond paste 🤌 As expected, Croissant Monkland knows how to make a good almond croissant.View more
Bought some croissants to bring for the guys & girls at work. I was told they were the best ever.
I guess that's a good sign!View more
I again tried the croissant & had fun this time. I ordered a few other items & will update my review.
From my past review: However, I give the two muffin I tried, four & five stars. The croissant with spinach omelet was very good, as was the spinach omelet by itself, & at a good price.View more
I really like croissants almond pastries. All the sweets & cakes are always delicious.View more
Is there any place in Montreal better than Croissant Monkland for croissants & baguettes? I don't think so! You guys are the best & make NDG a must-visit! I will make sure you're my top recommendation! The service is also great! Shoutout to Nickita for her 5-star service! Keep it up!View more
Best almond croissant I've had in my life! Prices are very reasonable & staff are always friendlyView more
Friendly staff & great pastries! The highlight & go-to item for me is the regular/plain croissant - they are nice & flaky with a good crunch on the outside, & are pillowy soft & airy with the perfect amount of chew texture inside. Perfect!View more
The best croissant in Montreal. I've been to many many many shops . Those are not only affordable, but huge, crispy, fresh & simply delicious !View more
Le croissant était excellemment plié ! Un feux d'artifice sur mes papilles ! Merci pour ce moment unique. Grosses bises au cuistoView more
View more
Underrated..Croissants are delicious! Highly recommend. I bought some frozen ones for the holidays & cooked them at home They were a huge hit! A large assortment of sandwiches .View more
Unexpected but this place might have one of the best croissant in town. Went here by accident & is now our go to place for croissant!View more
The almond croissant had no volume, was soggy, & the texture was terrible. It tasted awful. The staff put the croissant & blueberry tart in the same paper bag, so the croissant absorbed the blueberry flavor. I bought more than 10 types of bread, but they didn't put them in a shopping bag. Instead, they left 4 small paper bags & a cake box on the counter after I paid & just stared at me. There are far better bakeries in Montreal than this one. Don't go here. I do not recommend it. View more
View more
