✨ Hidden Gem Worth Every Bite! 🥐💸
I stumbled on this place by pure chance while staying at an Airbnb just a 15-minute walk away. One evening, I was browsing Google Maps to see what was around-& this spot instantly caught my eye. Intrigued, I had to check it out… & I'm so glad I did!
I was in Montreal for 5 days, & once I discovered this place & tried their goodies, I couldn't stay away. I came back every single day-no shame! 😋
My girlfriend & I probably spent around $350 during our stay (& yes, they absolutely deserved every cent). The pastries are next-level delicious. I seriously wish I had two stomachs. 😂
⭐ Top recommendation: the almond croissant-pure heaven! 🥐✨ To this day, I still haven't found a better one anywhere.
Do yourself a favor: GO HERE. SPEND YOUR MONEY. WORTH. EVERY. PENNY. 🙌💯View more
Croissant Monkland sells some of the best bread in the neighborhood, which is why I try to go there. Alas, they have two widely-spaced steps in front of the store. This is a barrier for me -- I need a walker to get around. There is a railing, which helps. I try to go with a friend, who can hold the spring-loaded door open while I struggle with the walker.
They offer pastries, both savory & sweet, & very pleasant light lunches.View more
delicious, fresh baked good & awesome coffee, i wish there was more sizes available for the beverages but the affordable yet delicious pastries & sandwiches makes it worth it, it is always PACKED which says alot about their efficiency & quality (10/10) but i would not recommend dining in because it is a pretty small café.. fortunately right in front of many, nice parcs!View more
Top tier croissants, one of the best in town. Absolutely recommend the almond croissants. The raspberry croissants are also quite good.View more
We ordered:
Pizza
Panini with chicken, bacon, tomato, & cheese
Croissant with spinach omelette
Chocolate cake
Café latte
Iced black hot chocolate
We ate everything in the store, but it was too hot inside.
They heated up the food before serving. I had the croissant, chocolate cake, & café latte. Everything was so delicious! The croissant was bigger than ones from other bakeries.
The prices were also very reasonable.View more

Did something change recently? I love the croissants but my purchase this weekend left me surprised. I felt I bought a dozen Costco croissants! Maybe an off day?View more
Tried this place on the recommendation of my coworker & turns out a pretty amazing place for croissants. Honestly love their cheese croissantView more
it smells amazing as you enter. The variety is nice :)View more
The products here are so good that frankly it might be a good reason alone to come to Montreal. Tip: order six pieces & they'll discount the tax.View more
Ok I will tell.others that Croissant is the best place for coffee & croissantView more
Food is good, but they have no organization. I was lining up & two clients who came inside after me were served before me. It's not the first time either.View more
I bought the best strawberry cake I've ever had in my life! Their fruit tarts are absolutely amazing, & their danishes are the best I've tasted. Everything is fresh, delicious, & made with so much care. A true gem!View more
I highly recommend Croissant Monkland. Their croissants (by far the best ones in NDG), pastries, pies, cakes... are just'super delicious'! & try also their divine'crème brûlée'!!! Staff is great & you will not find better prices for this quality in the entire hood. Long live Croissant Monkland, the best bakery in NDG!View more
Best croissant in NDG & I dare say, in Montreal!!! LOVE this NDG treasure!View more
There was still a variety of items available when I visited around 12:30 pm on a Tuesday, though they were running low on a few things. I got the chocolate eclair & the almond croissant.
Chocolate eclair: The ganache on top was fantastic, but the chocolate filling didn't taste like anything, & it was grainy. The choux itself was too soggy. Pretty disappointing overall, wouldn't recommend.
Almond croissant: This was fan-freakin-tastic. It was definitely a few hours old at this point since it was one of only a few left, but magically IT WAS STILL CRISPY & FLAKY. That crust on top, the moist interior, the flavor of the almond paste 🤌 As expected, Croissant Monkland knows how to make a good almond croissant.View more
