Review Summary

Crêperie du Marché is a popular destination within the Jean Talon Market, celebrated for its high quality, entirely gluten-free crepes. Patrons consistently praise the fresh, flavorful, and authentic Breton-style buckwheat galettes, which offer both savory and sweet varieties to suit any palate. While the venue can become busy and seating is limited, the efficient service and friendly, attentive staff ensure an enjoyable experience. Despite some notes regarding pricing and occasional wait times, many visitors consider these crepes to be among the best in Montreal, making the restaurant a must-visit spot for those seeking a delicious and inclusive meal in a lively market setting.

This place makes slightly leaner crepes, opting for the buckwheat which I'm a fan of. I enjoy the texture of these crepes. The food is great & the price is fair enough. However the seating is very close together. When it gets busy you have people on either side of you within inches of your elbows, not the msot comfortable eating experience. But to be fair it is in a market setting. Service was fantastic.

Dedicated gluten free restaurant. We ate crepes & they were to die for. It it wasn't because they forgot about our order & we had to wait over an hour for our meat the rating would have been much better. The place is located in a small charming market but there is no charm about the place.

We came here as a stop for lunch during a trip back from Tremblant as one of the members of our party has a gluten sensitivity. The people running the stand were incredibly accommodating & assuring of our allergies & sensitivities. The buckwheat crepes were fantastic. They are not like normal crepes & have a fantastic crunch & texture on the edges. I personally had the Oessant & it was fantastic. The market here also has a lot to offer to a great place to stop.
