Crêperie du Marché is described as a lively Breton inspired spot inside Jean Talon Market, offering a wide range of gluten free and buckwheat galettes alongside many savory and sweet crepes made to order. Reviewers praise fresh ingredients, delicate fillings, and generous portions that feel satisfying, with many mentioning the option to customize fillings and to enjoy vegan or vegetarian choices. Friendly and efficient staff are repeatedly highlighted, keeping service fast even when the market is busy and lines are long. Some notes point to a higher price point and occasional crepes that are a touch burnt or overly salty, but most consider the quality and variety to justify it. Overall, Crêperie du Marché stands out in the market for its authentic Breton flair, reliable gluten free offerings, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes it a go-to stop for both locals and visitors.
We enjoyed a delicious vegan galette with vegan butter & maple syrup. They also offer a savory galette with vegan cheese that looked very tempting. The service was excellent!

The vegan galette was really good. Loved the galette. I would love a no cheese option or a cashew based cheese instead. Make sure to ask for the vegan butter.
Gluten free crepe restaurant in Montreal. Amazing!!! I had ham, Swiss cheese, baked apples & maple syrup. My wife had lox, goat cheese cream veggies & & egg. Love it!
When I got to the crêperie, I was too sure what to order, but the lady there was really helpful. I wanted something sweet but at the same salty. She suggested La Virée which is a crêpe with ham, suisse cheese, maple syrup, & cooked apples. It was delicious!! The kids had the Banalec which is a crêpe with bananas & dark chocolate spread, & they got extra strawberries (extra cost). It was also delicious!
Decided to spend some time at the Jean Talon Market. Had brunch at the crepe du Marche & all I say is wow!! Kitchen staff were happy when preparing our food (open kitchen), service was very attentive & the food outstanding. Had the ham, egg & cheese crepe & my wife had the smoked salmon & egg crepe. A must try if you visit Montreal.
The most delightful gluten-free creperie. Excellent crepe base. My savory crepe had apples & maple syrup that didn't overpower the ham & swiss cheese, ever bite was delicious. Wife had a sweet crepe with a beautiful balance of flavor & sweetness. We will seek this out on future adventures to Montreal.
Absolutely delicious. I was so excited to find a dedicated GF creperie in Montreal. I would go back to Montreal just to eat here again. My heart desired both a savory & sweet crepe; the “Pontivy” was a perfect compromise…ham, cheese, etc. drizzled with maple syrup. Flavorful herbs & a satisfying crisp to the crepe. My non-Celiac husband enjoyed this as much as I did, so no guilt on my part for taking him to a GF place.
Ordered smoked salmon crepe, & it was amazing!! Crepe was crunchy, salmon & cheese/cream was perfect too!! Only thing that could make it better would be- salmon was only on the one corner, while creams were on the other corner. If it was spreaded nicely, would've been nicer! 100% recommending this place.

What a great discovery; especially if you are someone like me who must eat strictly gluten free. Gaëlle, a friendly, kind & very informative server explained every fully. I enjoyed the “Ouessant” “ Smoked Salmon, Spinach, Fresh Goat Cheese & Lemon
The most festive organic gluten-free buckwheat pancake... fresh goat's cheese cream & sheep's milk yogurt spread, smoked salmon from our Gaspé artisan... incredible!”. The description is pefect! Fresh & so delicious! Gaëlle, you’re the best!
