I've tried a lot of crêpes, even in France, where I stayed with a French family & learned how to make them from scratch. I honestly thought those would always be the best, until I came here.
The buckwheat crêpes (I had the vegan option) were incredible. As someone who prioritizes a healthy lifestyle, it's rare to find something that feels both nourishing & indulgent, but these absolutely delivered. They were rich, satisfying, & full of flavour without tasting'healthy' in that bland way.
What really makes this place special is the people. Jérôme is so passionate, & Richard did an amazing job making the crêpe. You can tell they're true crêpe experts who bring so much joy & care into what they do.
I'm actually so sad to be leaving Montreal because we don't have anything like this back in Toronto. Nothing that balances quality, taste, & wholesome ingredients this well. I genuinely wish I had come here every single day of my trip.
If you're in Montreal, this place is a must. & please open in Toronto soon. We need you!!
J'ai la dent sucrée, & je peux vous dire qu'elle a été comblée avec la crêpe Rougemont. J'ai goûté également celle de mon conjoint (au chocolat & bananes). Je recommande vraiment cet endroit. Personnel très courtois & chaleureux. Merci encore, je reviendrai !

J'ai adoré mon expérience à la Crêperie du Marché. Des crêpes groumandes, un menu varié & un accueil tellement familial. Je recommande tellement, c'est LE détour à faire au marché Jean-Talon.
Nous y sommes allés en famille & ma fille de 7 ans souhaitait simplement une crêpe au sucre. Nous avons demandé très poliment, tout en étant conscients que ce n'était pas forcément au menu. Étant donné la simplicité de la demande, nous pensions que ce serait possible, comme cela nous est déjà arrivé ailleurs.
Le monsieur à la caisse a été extrêmement antipathique & a refusé. Je lui ai alors dit que ce n'était pas grave & j'ai demandé une crêpe nature… qu'il a également refusé de préparer pour mon enfant. Sa réponse : « c'est soit ce qu'il y a sur le menu ou rien ! »
Ma fille est repartie le coeur brisé, sans pouvoir manger une crêpe alors que tous les autres clients en profitaient autour d'elle.
Au-delà du refus, c'est surtout l'attitude qui choque : aucun sourire, un ton froid & désagréable. L'accueil était franchement décevant. En lisant les autres commentaires mentionnant un personnel peu courtois & impoli, cela ne m'étonne malheureusement pas.
Lots of buckwheat crepe options, a little pricey but still a fun option for food at the marché.
Gets pretty busy on the weekends & has limited seating.
Open year round as it's part of the indoor pavilion of the market!

Je suis allé manger là avec une amie. J'ai pris une crêpe repas & elle a pris une crêpe en cornet. On nous a dit qu'on pouvait pas manger ensemble car l'article que mon amie a pris était seulement pour emporter, elle ne pouvait donc pas s'assoir avec moi sur les tables, même en précisant à la caissière qu'on est ensemble. Ceci est complètement inacceptable & absurde, on ne m'a jamais interdit de m'assoir dans un commerce lorsque nous sommes en groupe même si quelqu'un ne mangeait pas. Nous avons donc dû manger séparément, moi sur une table & elle à l'extérieur du marché, ce qui a gâché notre journée.
Crêperie fort sympathique. Les crêpes sont vraiment bonnes & les produits sont frais & locaux.
Aujourd'hui j'ai essayé celle avec poire, pomme & caramel & c'était trop bon!
Avec un petit jus chaud de pomme épicée !
Délicieux. Bravo!
