Review Summary

Crémerie Saint Paul earns praise for tasty buckwheat crepes and reliable options for breakfast and lunch, with a comfortable atmosphere and friendly, attentive service noted by many. The chicken, bacon and cheese crepe and a small side salad are often described as delicious, while a few reviews warn that crepes can be undercooked or taste eggy. Ice cream experiences are mixed: some flavors are described as creamy and enjoyable, but others are criticized as bland or expensive, and a couple of comments point to limited flavor options. Overall the spot is seen as a popular choice for crepes and ice cream, offering quick service and good value for many, though opinions vary on consistency, flavor variety, and price.

On a hot sunny day, my wife & I visited Crémerie Saint Paul, seeking a refreshing treat to beat the heat. We decided to try their Tropi-Mango & Fresa-Rasa smoothies. The Tropi-Mango smoothie was a tropical delight. Its vibrant mango flavor was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, & had a natural, fresh taste. The consistency was smooth & creamy, with a rich, velvety texture that made each sip a pleasure. It felt like a cool breeze in a glass, wonderfully refreshing & invigorating. The Fresa-Rasa smoothie, on the other hand, offered a different yet equally satisfying experience. The combination of fresh strawberries with a hint of tanginess created a delightful contrast. It had a slightly thicker texture compared to the Tropi-Mango, making it feel more indulgent. The flavors were bright & zesty, providing a rejuvenating burst of freshness. Both smoothies were perfectly chilled, ideal for the scorching weather. The presentation was simple but appealing, served in sturdy cups that were easy to carry around as we strolled. The portion sizes were just right, offering enough to cool us down without being overly filling. Crémerie Saint Paul truly impressed us with their smoothies. The Tropi-Mango & Fresa-Rasa were both excellent choices, each offering a unique & enjoyable flavor profile. Whether you're a fan of tropical mango or crave the vibrant taste of fresh strawberries, these smoothies are a perfect way to enjoy a hot day in Montreal.
