July 2026: the 2 for $30 special us back. YEAH! This is one of the best BBQ chicken restaurant in the city of Montréal.
June 2024: It's my favorite BBQ chicken spot. Best in town.
The atmosphere brings you back to the 60's with a modern twist (they just made some changes).
The chicken, sauce, & fries are as good as it gets. The coleslaw is not bland. But, salt, pepper, lift the flavor.
Right now, June 2024, they have a 2 for $30 dinner. What a great deal.
Parking can be tricky but can be found.
My fiance & I had dinner here tonight. I was disappointed to learn that this location only has chicken, no ribs. The west island location has ribs.
There was a two people can dine for $30. My fiancé & I chose meals from that deal. He had chicken leg with fries & I had the chicken poutine. We both enjoyed our meals. His chicken was moist & he loved the gravy. My poutine had plenty of chicken, cheese curds & gravy. The portion was very generous & I couldn't finish it all!
We had a choice of coleslaw or chicken noodle vegetable soup. We both had soup & the portion was also generous. Lots of flavour & huge pieces of chicken!
Tia was our server & she was amazing! Great bubbly personality. We talked about our engagements (we are both engaged) & our love for Chicago. 10 out of 10 stars for Tia!
Visited Côte St Luc BBQ restaurant with my family (2025). We ordered Grande Chicken poutine. It was yummy, delicious & super heavy. We had to wait for 20 mins as it was freshly made, which I would say worth waiting for it. Staffs were very friendly, courteous & the service was superb. Nice ambiance of the restaurant & it gives retro nostalgic feeling back from 80s & 90s. We enjoyed our dinner last night & would recommend anyone to visit this place. Will come soon. Merci beaucoup.
Visited Côte St Luc BBQ - NDG for the second time with my family (July 2026). We ordered Poutein Crispy Chicken Filet (picture attached), along with Root Beer 🍺 on the side. As a regular customer, we enjoy the taste of the meal & heavy quantity. Staff are always nice with us. Will come back again soon. Merci Beaucoup.
J'ai pris un spécial deux cuisses avec frites & mon amie un hot chicken. C'était vraiment succulent. On va y retourner sans faute! Je recommande sans hésiter.
5 star is not enough for this place . Iv been coming here for years . Elite chicken & fries bbq sauce ! Go habs go also i forgot best coslaw in montreal hands down
One of my childhood favorites was hot chicken, the way Chalet BBQ & later St-Hubert made it. But St-Hubert is getting progressively worse, not terrible mind you. Anyway, I ubered hot chicken & I found a lot of chicken, a lot of peas & the brown gravy tasted the way I wanted. The fries also were very good. It was very satisfying &, in the past few years, I have tried pretty much all the'hot chicken' available on ubereats. I also ordered a chicken soup, it had a lot of vegetables but was average overall.
As someone out of the province I trusted the high Uber Eats rating of this restaurant & was left VERY disappointed.
Our order took around a half hour to simply be made. Our order ended up being dropped by one courier because the restaurant was taking so long.
When we received our order there was no cutlery or even one napkin. The drink was packed in with the food which didn't help with keeping the food hot & the drink cold.
The chicken was good as were the mozza sticks. The fries however were not good; they were completely soggy, charred black & had a sweet taste that was very off-putting. I barely touched my chicken poutine & my partner barely ate his fries.
For $60+ for food alone I am very disappointed. This trip away for us was something we saved hard for, so spending this much money on something that was this much of a let down on our first day in the city after an 8+ hour drive was beyond disappointing. As someone who works in a service industry I hate to complain, but I couldn't keep quiet on this one.
I disagree with all of the negative posts. For the price you pay this place is top tier, amazing chicken (not dry at all), wings are so good you can eat them alone with no sauce, French fries are in the middle of soft & crispy, & the poutine is one of the best I've had. If you are debating going here just go.
