COQCOR is a contraction of French word "Le Coq Coréen", which means "Korean Chicken". COQCOR tries to offer tasty, healthy and safe Korean food such as Korean Fried Chicken and Korean BBQ in no time at a reasonable price for all people who want to feel the taste of incredible Korean food in Montréal area.
COQCOR stands out as a go to for takeout Korean fried chicken with crispy, juicy chicken and inventive sides like boneless bites and rice cakes, and some orders include a complimentary drink and dumplings. The menu is praised for bold flavors and quick, friendly service, with a welcoming, family run vibe and a lively K pop ambiance. Many reviews crown it the best Korean fried chicken in Montreal, highlighting superbly coated chicken, generous portions, and solid side dishes that complement the main flavors. There are occasional mixed notes about value and consistency, with some diners finding portions smaller for the price or certain sauces too sweet or not authentically Korean, but the chicken itself is often described as addictive and worth repeating. Regulars describe the combination meals and spicy pork bulgogi as satisfying, and to go orders hold up well even after travel. Overall COQCOR is seen as a dependable, value driven option that draws both first time visitors and repeat customers for fried chicken and a broad Korean menu.
My go to place for take out korean fried chicken! The boneless chicken with the creamy onion sauce is so good & ive never had that sauce elsewhere. They also give you a few drink & dumplings if you order a certain amount

I've been researching great Korean fried chicken spots & Coqcor came on my radar. The boneless chicken bites & rice cakes were amazing! Will definitely be ordering again ⭐?
I must admit as someone who has only been to Montreal once & tried only 1 Korean fried chicken shop, this has to be the best one. The chicken was superbly coated & juicy on the inside. Great flavour combos as well as amazing side dishes. Service was executed perfectly with a very small wait time even though it was moderately busy. Would highly recommend to anyone new to Montreal or for anyone who has not found this place yet.
Some of the best KFC I've ever had. Japchae was also really good. Got the 3pc fried chicken combo & seemed like so did mist patrons. Will be back everytime I visit montreal

Super fun unassuming spot with delicious food! We had the tteok-bokki & Korean fried chicken, portions were generous & delicious. Our server was super sweet & helpful, we will be back!
Terrible Korean Food Experience , Definitely Not Coming Back
I ordered the spicy bulgogi combo & it was completely dry, while the japchae was bland, cold, & honestly tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. The bulgogi soup, which is not supposed to be spicy was surprisingly hot & lacked the traditional bulgogi flavor entirely.
The fried chicken was another disappointment: greasy, heavy, & missing the classic taste & crunch you expect from real Korean fried chicken.
The only decent parts of the meal were the dumpling soup & the service. Everything else was a big letdown.
We took this to go for our train ride from Montreal to Toronto. Even cold fried chicken from here tasted so good I was regretting not eating it at the restaurant.
It was so good! I ordered pick up & I didn't have to wait at all. The guy at the cash was so nice. The sweet & spicy chicken was so good that I forgot to take a picture before starting eating! They also gave me a complimentary drink & free dumplings. 100%recommend.I will definitely go back for sure!
