The boneless chicken with the creamy onion sauce is so good & ive never had that sauce elsewhere. They also give you a few drink & dumplings if you order a certain amount
I've been researching great Korean fried chicken spots & Coqcor came on my radar. The boneless chicken bites & rice cakes were amazing! Will definitely be ordering again ⭐?
I must admit as someone who has only been to Montreal once & tried only 1 Korean fried chicken shop, this has to be the best one. The chicken was superbly coated & juicy on the inside. Great flavour combos as well as amazing side dishes. Service was executed perfectly with a very small wait time even though it was moderately busy. Would highly recommend to anyone new to Montreal or for anyone who has not found this place yet.
Best korean fried chicken i've ever had, the guy serving us was very nice, not too busy.
A lovely family-owned restaurant. The owner is the sweetest person there & the food is always fresh! Strongly recommend for an authentic Korean experience!
Food was good
In Korean fried chicken you can get 3 types of sauces & it was decent & crispy
& fried chicken dumplings are not good
Super fun unassuming spot with delicious food! We had the tteok-bokki & Korean fried chicken, portions were generous & delicious. Our server was super sweet & helpful, we will be back!
Terrible Korean Food Experience , Definitely Not Coming Back
I ordered the spicy bulgogi combo & it was completely dry, while the japchae was bland, cold, & honestly tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. The bulgogi soup, which is not supposed to be spicy was surprisingly hot & lacked the traditional bulgogi flavor entirely.
The fried chicken was another disappointment: greasy, heavy, & missing the classic taste & crunch you expect from real Korean fried chicken.
The only decent parts of the meal were the dumpling soup & the service. Everything else was a big letdown.
A huge disappointment overall.
best spot in montreal for korean style fried chicken. A bit more expensive than other places but it's worth it !
You must go here, it is the cutest Korean restaurant with the most unassuming front door. There was one waiter on his own & he was so sweet & attentive. Restaurant is clean & spacious & kpop plays quietly in the background.
I've been to Seoul many times & the food at this restaurant took me back to my travels.
We walked in with no problems & got a table quickly. We had japchae, tteokboki & bibimbap
My favourite Korean restaurant in Montreal. I love their Japchae - it doesn't taste too'oily' nor too salty nor too sweet. Just perfectly balanced. They also accommodate for a vegan sundubu jigae (tofu stew) with a vegan broth. It's so tasty & feels clean.
A casual Korean restaurant known for chicken dishes. Other traditional Korean dishes such as bibimba, soup, pancakes are also available.
the tteokbokki sauce is good. But personally the fried chicken doesn't reach my expectations for Korean fried chicken, the sauce is too sweet & the garlic soy sauce is only salty! The soup is not flavorful.
However, the staff is very attentive. Good place to go have quick meal.
Definitely my go-to spot for Korean fried chicken, super crispy, served in small pieces that are perfect for sharing with friends. The staff are always friendly, & the quality-to-price ratio is great too.
We expected really good korean fried chicken. Pieces were small & most of it was the bone. Seafood pancake was mediocre. We did enjoy cheese corn.
The lady who owns this place is so adorable! The prices are great for the finger-licking Korean food they serve 😋 We ordered the Soya Porc Rice Combo (it was the best porc I've ever had), & the rice cakes with seafood & cheese. MY FAV KOREAN RESTAURANT IN MTL NOW 🍲🦪🥘
Amazing food!
Welcoming staff!
Cozy atmosphere!
My friend & I had a great time there! It's probably my new favorite Korean restaurant now haha. Definitely will be going back very soon :3
