Nice art deco style layout. We had the vegetarian Benedict & avocado toast. Both were delicious. The staff were friendly & attentive. Good stuff.
This is a lovely restaurant.. an excellent spot to watch the city go by while enjoying an excellent breakfast.
Had breakfast here, great service & delicious food, loved the eggs Benedict & French Toast.
Had a very good breakfast here during our hotel stay, however the dinner was disappointing overall. Onion soup but the burger:subpar. Meat was bland, bun quickly soggy, & bacon also soggy/undercooked
My friend & I were staying in the hotel so dined twice, once at dinner & once for breakfast. On both occasions we had excellent food & service. Well timed, so pleasant. Faultless.
I am very picky about Caesar salads. My friend got a Caesar salad & it looked top notch & she indicated that it was. It was also generously portioned.
For breakfast we both had avocado toast & lattes. The avocado toast was large, beautifully presented & delicious. The lattes were also very good.
I would happily eat here again!
Don't know about the other reviews that I've been reading but my experience at the bar & in the dining room was excellent!
The Cesar salad was one of the best I've ever had & yes I've had Cesar salad all across the globe
The waiters & waitresses have always been so nice ! From the coffee shop to the bar & dining room.
The breakfast was delicious ( Salmon oeuf Benedict). & I've been more than once ! It is so practical being next to Place des Arts metro.
Merci au restaurant Commodore !
Stopped in quickly for a coffee & was blown away by the beautiful interior. Feels very fancy, but their Spanish Latte was so rich & perfectly sweetened! The barista was really friendly, & we got to enjoy sitting around for a bit to gawk at the lovely interior design choices. May come back to check out their breakfast, too!
I enjoyed the Interieur a lot. Like the style, good noise level of the ambient music.
Service was good, although the water refills could have come a bit more timely.
My omlette was rather ham-heavy, but quality was on point. Plus points for serving fruits with it.
The French toast matched m expectations fully as well.
Can recommend having breakfast at the commodore.
We were staying at the Honeyrose Hotel & ate twice at the Commodore. The first time was for drinks & small plates before we headed out for a larger meal at another restaurant. Service was great & the food was good. Duck Terrine, beet salad & fries. The second time was for breakfast. Service was good & the Benedict & Continental were quite nice. The roasted breakfast potatoes were salty, but I didn't mind. The atmosphere was classy & designed to accommodate fun people watching while dining, which I also didn't mind. Nice place to eat overall.
I stayed here at the end of February & absolutely loved my stay. Chic new cozy trendy hotel. I sincerely think it's one of the best places I've stayed in a very long time. The details in the architecture of this place is absolutely divine. Not a single spot didn't leave me in awe. It's absolutely gorgeous in all of the common spaces. The breakfast at the Commodore was delicious. Service was a little slow & wonky at first but staff was friendly & food was extra yummy, well cooked & seasoned. Staff throughout the hotel were very friendly & welcoming. Really enjoyed my stay. The room was gorgeous & clean. The only thing I didn't really like is the toilet situation... No one wants to be heard when nature calls, doesn't matter if you're in a romantic or platonic situation...closed room with a fan will always be the way to go.
Dinner service was slow but the waiter was delightful, helpful & overall good. The food itself was underwhelming & flavorless. The menu is lacking & limited, so it's hard to decide what to order. Breakfast/brunch was where it fell off. Next morning I went for brunch, got seated but no one ever came to even offer water. I waited for a while trying to flag someone down. After 30 mins of nothing, I walked out.
