I ve heard good things about this place so I tried a few times for coffee. Unfortunately I was always disappointed by their cappuccino. Each time it was bad to the point I couldn't drink it. Maybe they just don't know how to make it with oat milk but I had to throw it away, which is very frustrating for a 6$ coffee… I won't be back for coffee.Voir plus

I recently visited Clarke Café (PSC), located at 1207 Rue Shearer, Montréal, QC H3K 1H8, & it's a pretty cool spot! 😎 The place is unassuming, with a simple & laconic (minimalist) interior, but it feels welcoming. It has a good number of tables for its size, which is convenient. 🛋? tables
What really stands out is the food! They offer a large selection of sandwiches, various baked goods, & all sorts of other tasty treats. 🥪🍰 You won't be short on delicious options here! The coffee is also really good - strong & aromatic, just how I like it. ☕👃
&, as a bonus, there are lots of beautiful staff members! 😉 It adds to the pleasant atmosphere.
I definitely recommend checking out Clarke Café (PSC) if you're in the area looking for good coffee & a great selection of food in a relaxed setting!

This is a 3.5 stars for me. Nice spot to grab coffee or have a sandwich with friends. It's dog friendly, I loved seeing the variety of dogs coming in & being welcome. The coffee was pretty good, croissants & sandwich/panini were OK, not my favourites in Montreal but decent. The breakfast sandwich is my least favourite. Pastries were delicious. The space is nice, spacious & clean. A lot of natural light. Restrooms are clean.Voir plus

Love this space. Great atmosphere & design underlined by delicious food & great coffee. Prosciutto sandwich is delicious (add some pickles onto it - side note, where are you guys getting these pickles from?). The Nutella horn is phenomenal & their coffee blend is perfect & not too bitter. While I'm personally a Bossa girl when it comes to sandwiches (the amount of meat on those for the price can't be beat), the sandwiches here are great & not too heavy. One of us was hungover, it was time to go back to Toronto, & we have to lug our luggage in the rain. First meal of the day! This café was near our Airbnb, so we had it saved to go on our last day before our train leaves. It was relatively empty when we came in, around 1130. Design is so nice, so spacious & so aesthetic. It gave the vibe of a classic diner, but with their use of Green & cream colors, it gave a very modern & comforting twist. As usual in Montreal, the cashier will go "bonjour hello", & you pick which language you want to continue. There's a small menu in front of her the list of the sandwiches available. The sandwich bases are all the same, it's mostly the meat you choose, & two toppings. I chose the Fantino & cannot recommend it more. It's SO good. In fact, I boast to get my exact sandwich, fantino with sundried tomatos & their hot sauce. TRUST MEEEE I am salivating thinking of it like it was that good. One thing I notice is all Montreal cafes have merch. It's cute too. There's plenty of seating & you can just sit there in their comfy chairs for hours to be honest. Their coffee was great as well :) If I'm in Montreal again I will definitely be back, thank you!Voir plus

2nd update: my sandwich wasn't so great this time, one part of the chicken cutlet was ok the other was severely overcooked & chewy. Kinda sad as the sandwich before was amazing even tho it's kinda expensive Update: service is faster now, some women work there now, sandwiches are fantastic. Coffee/espresso is still the best I've tasted in North America so far! Old review: Very slow, kinda off-putting service but DAMN what a good tasting cup of coffee. I'm not even a coffee connaseur but it's got great flavour. A little pricy but worth the quality, better than a St*rbuks. Hipster bro vibes, for better or worse 😬Voir plus
