All The prices have doubled since 2020 (mortadella sandwich went from 7 to 14$ for example). Ingredients haven't changed or been improved, bread is good but dry. Can't really recommend anymore.
One of my favorite sandwhich shops in montreal. The cutlet sandwiches is one of the best Ive tried. Never disappoints. Fresh bread, fresh ingredients. A must try ! Great spot to grab a coffee &/or to grab a sandwhich.
A once favourite sandwich has recently become more & more sub par our the last year.
Every time I order there is something wrong. Either there barely any filling, ingredients were forgotten, ie. No eggplant or bomba, lettuce was actually black & rotten once....
I find myself saying,'maybe it's a one off,' every time lately. Sad to say, I think today was my last Clarke's sandwich.
You're better off going to Bossa or Ciccios.
Clarke Café at PSC keeps things simple & gets them right. The sandwiches are the draw, packed, well seasoned, & made with ingredients that taste cared for. Bread has the right bite, fillings stay balanced, nothing soggy or overdone.
Service moves quickly even when it gets busy, & the vibe stays relaxed. Good spot for a solid lunch without any hassle, consistently reliable & worth the stop.
Delicious sandwiches! They have a ton of choices but the base ingredients stay the same (mayo, lettuce, tomatoes) & you get 2 ingredients you can customize. The Frank way is what the owner would say is best to get with the particular sandwich you pick (a fun surprise!).
I think their crispy chicken is so flavourful. The sandwich is also massive so you get quality & quantity. Lots of seating available.
Been a while & finally came out to the new location to have my « sangwhich » fix. The space is bright, lively & inviting. Porchetta sandwich today & it was delicious! Bread was fresh, little crunch when taking a bite & soft through. Good blend of ingredients for a flavourful experience. A cannoli at the end hit spot & was set to head out & brave the cold! Will be back.
Sandwich à la saucisse italienne 10/10 Sandwich aux légumes 10/10 Ils savent ce qu'il ils font. Ingrédients frais & savoureux. Goût complexe, réconfortant & satisfaisant. Rapport qualité/prix 10/10
My boyfriend & I ordered two sandwiches from here for the first time- both were huge, the bread was fresh & perfectly crunchy, & were packed with fresh ingredients. The Calabrese was my favourite so far- but I'm going to be ordering from here again 100%!
This place is 65% sandwich shop, 35% cafe so the name can be misleading. The space offers a good amount of seating but the place can be exceptionally busy on weekends. Had a marvelous, delicious sandwich from here. All the ingredients were well-selected.
We LOVE this place. Although we were in the neighborhood for an entire month we didn't make it to Clarke Cafe until our final week & we went there every day including a stop on our way out of town to take sandwiches & treats with us on the road. The staff is super friendly, especially the owners, the food is made with the best ingredients & is wonderfully flavorful. Over the course of the few days we went there, we tried alot of the sandwiches; our favorites were definitely the porchetta, chicken cutlet, tuna, & Calabrese. The pastries are also excellent! There was a bit of a wait during lunch time, but not too bad at all. We can't wait to go back to Clarke Cafe the next time we're in town.
