Friendly service, cozy lighting, & creative cocktails. I tried the hoji which I found tasted a bit too much of almond butter, but it was pretty unique & unlike anything I had before.
The reason I am giving 3 stars is because there was a DJ blasting very loud music, which I think goes against the spirit of a'speakeasy'-style bar. We asked the waiter if the music could be turned down, but he didn't seem to do anything about it & it only got louder... We had a hard time hearing eachother speak so we left after the first cocktail. Dommage!

Went on a Monday night & were floored by Adrian's knowledgeable, sincere, efficient service & *miraculous* mixology. Easily the best drinks of mine & my boyfriend's life. We got the Classi & a Spicy Margarita. Environment is also at once cool + cozy.

An easy highlight of our trip to Montreal.

Quoi dire du Clandestino. Cet établissement super cozy, avec un staff magifique & une liste de cocktail à faire rêver.

Ce qui était supposer être un petit verre rapide un lundi soir est rapidement devenu une tradition. Finir le travail & déguster un Calsa verde! On parle maintenant des lundi clandestino ou des'calsa Mondays'

Such an amazing spot. The cocktails / mocktails are so good!
Thanks to Shelby & David for their incredible skills & knowledge. The atmosphere is cozy, the music is great & it has its own unique vibe. Defenitely coming back here!

Cozy speakeasy downtown Montreal. I didn't realize it was a speakeasy, & couldn't find it at first, but there is a sign on a glass door & someone is there to lead you into a dimly lit basement bar. All the cocktails are made with mezcal or tequila & they're excellent. The staff is friendly & attentive as well.
