Cool atmosphere & great service. My cocktail was the most expensive one on the menu but it didn't impress me. My boyfriend's cocktail though was delicious. So, I'll know what to order next time!

Hidden cocktail bar, lots of sofa/lounge seating. Mezcal specialties, & I enjoyed my mango/passionfruit cocktail.
$4 coat check was deeply annoying. Music choice was not for me.
Great little hidden cocktail bar. We came across this spot & decided to stop in for a drink. We sat up at the bar & Shelby was our bartender, he was extremely knowledgeable & friendly. He gave us the idea to do a tequila tasting which we opted for. Shelby put together a tasting flight with different citruses, salts & even crickets that go well with the tequilas. We had an amazing experience & will for sure return when we are back in Montreal.
Had the best spicy margarita of all time here. Talk with the doorman, go behind a painting & down some stairs to this bar with amazing cocktails & allegedly the largest offering of mezcals in Canada. Hope to come back someday for a mezcal flight!

Well executed speakeasy featuring a developed cocktail menu & house DJ's. Some seating available but mostly standing room. Staff is cool. Great nightlife destination overall.
This is the peak speakeasy experience & my favorite in all of Montreal. Their specialization in tequila & mezcal is so exceptional that even those that don't enjoy tequila or mezcal will appreciate the menu.
I came here years ago & was blown away by the quality of the cocktail, extensive tequila & mezcal selection, environment, & fantastic service. We come back every summer & always have a great experience - & you will too.

After reading other's comments I had great expectations for their cocktails, it was ok, maybe there wasn't enough mezcal in them? Loved the ambiance especially at the beginning of the evening before the music gets loud.
Le Clandestin is my absolute favorite speakeasy in the Old Port! The decor & ambiance are so dimly lit, mysterious, & intimate-you truly feel like time stops! The selection of tequila & cocktails? Just wow, wow, wow! The service is super professional, & the bartenders are absolutely top-notch. It's the perfect spot for a post-dinner cocktail, whether you're on a date or out with friends.
Calsa verde cocktail was very good, one of the best I ever had. Dj was playing too. bartender with the hat was super nice. but the bartender with the gloves splashed me with whatever drink he was making multiple times. He seemed a bit annoyed. I was sitting alone minding my own business lol
Que de bons cocktails dans ce speakeasy à l'ambiance exceptionnelles. Calme, chaleureux & très confortable c'est l'endroit rêvé pour un date romantique ou simplement pour découvrir de bonnes saveurs. Je n'aime habituellement pas à la Tequila & pourtant j'ai adoré, été surpris & très bien servis. Les cocktails demeurent cependant un peu trop cher.
Cozy speakeasy downtown Montreal. I didn't realize it was a speakeasy, & couldn't find it at first, but there is a sign on a glass door & someone is there to lead you into a dimly lit basement bar. All the cocktails are made with mezcal or tequila & they're excellent. The staff is friendly & attentive as well.
Upon walking in we were greeted by Yanick who was smiling & gave great service. As we walked down to the bar I met the bartender Thomas who was fantastic, answered all my questions & took time to make me a perfect cocktail. 11/10 would recommend & will definitely be back. Thanks Clandestino!
