My friend & I had a wonderful time, & the meals were just excellent. I'm not even vegan & I found the vegan duck substitute had texture & taste akin to the real thing that it'd be worth converting to veganism at all.
La politique de deux heures pour manger est franchement désagréable, spécialement pour un groupe. Pas de bière sans alcool, pas de bière végan ( Heineken est vegan en passant ). Serveuse super gentille & attentionnée bonne nourriture. Un endroit à fréquenter mais pas en groupe vue le peu de tempsaloué.

I absolutely loved this restaurant. From the friendly staff to the cozy atmosphere, it was all amazing. I would highly recommend. I went with a friend who is non vegan & she also loved & enjoyed the food. Everything was well prepared, vegetables used in the dishes were fresh, & the food was hot & tasty!
Fantastic desserts as well.

My husband I, on our rare date night, visited C&C... drawn to the premise of highly rated vegan Thai food. We were not disappointed. Everything from the food & drinks to the ambiance & the attentive staff was excellent. We will go back!
Délicieux restaurant vegan qui m'a été fortement recommandé - je ne suis pas végane. Le menu est vaste, je voulais tout essayer. Les plats sont sublimes. Ils sont décorés de façon minutieuse & le gout est extra. Je recommande absolument & j'y retournerai certainement.
Loved our dinner at Chu Chai! The wait staff was great & I really enjoyed the food. We were 6 diners & it was perfect.
I think the Curry bowls were probably the best bet. I had the Pad Thai & it was good but could have used some veg as I used to get in non vegan ones before I was vegan (green onions & carrots).
Excellent restaurant ....& it's vegan!!!!
One person in our party was not vegan but absolutely loved everything he ate. He said he was definitely going to come back with other non vegan friends.
All the mock meats were just delicious. In fact, we all very much enjoyed every dish we ordered. FYI, we ordered around 24 items from starters to dessert.... No drinks except a hot ginger tea.
It's on the pricier side but well worth it especially when sharing your meal with wonderful company.
Oh & the service & ambiance was GREAT too!

Le service sortait de l'ordinaire, notre serveur était vraiment sympathique & connaissait bien son menu, ses suggestions étaient très bonnes. Toute l'expérience était excellente, spécialement pour un resto vegan!
Whether vegan or not, If ChuChai was your go-to Thai place & you haven’t visited in a while, you’re in for a surprise. NO, the soy-product pseudo pork, beef, duck, shrimp, haven’t been replaced by the real thing (shhh, calm down) – it’s still a veg resto specializing in Chi-Thai meals that look, & to some extant, taste like meat/seafood. NO, aside from the addition of the En Masse mural outdoors, the décor hasn’t been dramatically transformed. But those are good guesses, thanks for playing. The surprise is that the separation between “ChuChai fine cuisine” (to the left, to the left) & “Chuch bistro,” has meant some menu/price/clientele changes.
