It’s fast food, but made to order. The result of a late-night chat, and a handful of cooks. Who wanted to put the salt back in the butter. A bag of cheese curds that goes with supper. Assembled hot dogs, made proper. And fine toppings on a beautiful burger. But! You must order from the counter, and get up again when it’s ready to gather, except on weekends, and only for coffee (maybe with sugar). Prepared like it was meant to be, no fodder. You can arrive here hither or thither, it really doesn’t matter. Even better. Tous, chez Tousignant.

Excellent burger. Par contre le temps d'attente est hors norme! Plus de 30 minutes pour 1 burger take out ce n'est tout simplement pas acceptable. & ce à 3 visites toujours le même constat. À améliorer, car beaucoup potentiel…
Went for a lovely meal late night The place was beautiful. Looks like something from the 50s
burger was absolutely delicious. Poutine was outstanding even the hot dog was the best.
The only thing that I did not like was the attitude of the girl who was taking our order she was not happy. She made a very awful face like she was not happy doing her job or not happy serving us even to huff & puff very inappropriate & because of that I will not be returning again
all they have to say is when you have first time customers entering & they're asking questions about the food or asking for a accommodates
please don't be giving attitude, faces & huffing & puffing it's very unprofessional it is part of your job to serve people & give service
Très bon smashburger, jamais déçu a chaque fois que j'y vais, le partenariat avec Bernie Beigne était surprenant mais intense & très goûtu! Le service est impeccable!

The short limited menu embodies all that a classic casse-croûte represents: simple, no-frills, unpretentious food done exceptionally well in a retro setting, all made in house from the burger buns to the hot dog sausages. The burgers are simple but juicy, flavorful, & freshly served hot between pillowy soft buns toasted just enough to keep its structural integrity. The quality & freshness of the food speak for themselves.
The prices may appear intimidating considering what is served, but don't let that deter you away from giving this place the attention it deserves.
Not good for big order. Forgot a lot of things in the order. The food is not bad but not incredible. The cabbage salad is dry & little. Expensive for the quantity of the product. Homemade French fries.
Simple & flavourful , they do a killer poutine , the poutine gravy must have chicken broth , sauce does not taste salty. & fries are great too. Don't miss it!

One if the best smash burgers I've had in a long time. They are doing everything right. Recommend the Tousignant cheese burger. The fried are more than enough for two people. Great fast food near Jean Talon market
