It’s fast food, but made to order. The result of a late-night chat, and a handful of cooks. Who wanted to put the salt back in the butter. A bag of cheese curds that goes with supper. You must order from the counter, and get up again when it’s ready to gather, except on weekends, and only for coffee (maybe with sugar). Prepared like it was meant to be, no fodder. J'ai adoré l'ambiance. Le Staff est super gentil. La nourriture est excellente & de qualité 😍 L'hamburger/ hotdog 🌭 & la Poutine est excellente! Le pain 🍞 & la fraîcheur des ingrédients 😍. Lorsque l'on rentre dans le restaurant… y'a l'odeur des frites 🍟😍 Bravo 🥂
This used to be one of the best burger spot in Montreal me & my mother used to eat there all the time when we craved a good burger or a poutine.
Nowadays portions are smaller than ever the burgers are messy too much sauce mediocre ingredients & the pattys are chewy.
Honestly so disappointed especially since its on the pricier side for burgers & poutine nowadays it is really just not justified to charge such pricings for such mediocre mess!
By the way I paid 14 bucks for a snack size poutine how ridiculous..😂

Chez Tousignant emmène le fast food à un autre niveau. Le prix est un peu plus élevé qu'un fast food traditionnel, mais la nourriture est fraîche, de qualité & fait sur demande. Le hamburger est vraiment bon, la poutine est excellente & il est possible de prendre un bon coke au cerise, quoi demander de mieux?
On aime bien d'habitude le burger de Tousignant & c'est de la bonne « comfort » food donc en ce samedi soir devant un match des canadiens , on a pas hésité. Malheureusement cette fois-ci les proportions des poutines étaient décevantes pour une grande poutine & une poutine régulière, & ce malgré la reconnaissance que « tout coûte plus cher ». La sauce « gravy », un élément si important aux poutines, n'était pas au rendez-vous. En espérant que ce commentaire soit lu comme une critique constructive & que le restaurant ajustera son offre.

Pour la poutine je trouvais que sa manque un peu fromage sinom elle fait un peu travailler que dans d'autres restaurants mais c'est loint d'être la meilleure que j'ai mangé
This place has the feel of a rearranged American diner with small casse-croute focused menu. I was hungry enough for two items but wasn't feeling a poutine, so I went for a cheeseburger & a hot dog. The pricing here is sensible except for the hot dog, which wasn't particularly special either. The cheeseburger was spectacular, however. Amazing texture, perfect composition. Service wasn't great. The cook was nice but the girls working there could have been friendlier.
I have been going there since hopening, the poutine wasn't has good as usual & way too much sauce this time in my hamburger!! Also I was looking for the toussignant soft drinks & no more??
Tu sais, le sentiment de payé trop cher pour quelques chose de très ordinaire, les reviews sont tous tellement positif que j'y suis allé, 10$ le hot dog, 15$ le format de poutine que ma niece de 2 ans aurai encore faim après, petit conseille mes amis, pour la poutine faite griller vos frittes un peu plus & arrêté d'inonder la poutine de sauce, j'ai l'impression de boire une soupe ak des morceaux de pattates molles dedans. J'ai pas essayer le burger, j'avais oublié mon chèquier, mais guys revoyer vos prix & donnez un produit de meilleur qualité. Ambiance quand meme cool soit dit en passant.
Je suis une habituée de Tousignant. Leur poutine est, selon moi, la meilleure en ville. Jusqu'à aujourd'hui. Ma poutine n'était aucunement à la hauteur de ce que ce restaurant m'a habitué au fils des années. Les frites étaient à peine cuite au point où certaines étaient crues à l'intérieur. Manifestement le garçon de cuisine était trop occupé à mansplanner la vie à sa pauvre collègue pour frire les pomme de terre correctement. J'ai malheureusement pris la commande pour emporter & constater le tout une fois à la maison sinon, j'aurais exigé une nouvelle poutine sur le champ. Il me fait plaisir de payer le prix quand la qualité est au rendez-vous, ce qui n'était vraiment pas le cas ce soir, malheureusement.

Chez Tousignant nails that nostalgic Montreal casse-croûte vibe, right down to the retro counter & classic menu. The hamburgers & poutine are seriously delicious-comfort food done right. While the prices are a bit on the high side for what you get, the overall experience makes it worth it. A great spot when you're craving that old-school diner feel with quality eats.
Went for a lovely meal late night The place was beautiful. Looks like something from the 50s
burger was absolutely delicious. Poutine was outstanding even the hot dog was the best.
The only thing that I did not like was the attitude of the girl who was taking our order she was not happy. She made a very awful face like she was not happy doing her job or not happy serving us even to huff & puff very inappropriate & because of that I will not be returning again
all they have to say is when you have first time customers entering & they're asking questions about the food or asking for a accommodates
please don't be giving attitude, faces & huffing & puffing it's very unprofessional it is part of your job to serve people & give service
