It’s fast food, but made to order. The result of a late-night chat, and a handful of cooks. Who wanted to put the salt back in the butter. A bag of cheese curds that goes with supper. Assembled hot dogs, made proper. And fine toppings on a beautiful burger. But! You must order from the counter, and get up again when it’s ready to gather, except on weekends, and only for coffee (maybe with sugar). Prepared like it was meant to be, no fodder. You can arrive here hither or thither, it really doesn’t matter. Even better. Tous, chez Tousignant.

Poutine at this place? One word delicious! You will find parking if you want to taste this delicacy here, La Poutine. The four of us loved it. I have tasted poutine a few other places. Chez Tousigant's poutine is one of the finest in Montreal. Worth every cent. The question we asked ourselves as always was - will we come back here? The vote was a unanimous yes! So there you are 👍
Fun vibes. Got the poutine tousignant which was appropriately packed with beef & bacon. I wish the fries were ever so slightly less soggy from gravy so there would be some crispiness as texture contrast.
I ordered the hot dog tousignant & small poutine - this was an ok poutine, but definitely not my favourite - there was a good balance of fries/cheese/gravy however the gravy had no flavour & the fries were soggy. The hot dog had a good flavour (it was made in-house) but the mayo sauce was very overpowering, the few bites I had with less sauce were great. Poutine 3/5 Hot Dog 4/5
Définitivement overpriced. 50$ pour une poutine, deux burgers & un milkshake. Bonne sauce, vraiment rien d'unique. Je suggère plutôt le nouveau système juste à côté pour la moitié du prix!
J'avais des belles attentes mais j'ai vraiment été déçu! La poutine régulière est minuscule pour 10$, sans oublier le manque de fromage & le hamburger sec!

65 dollars pour deux poutines & deux hot dogs, à emporter donc sans les pourboires! les poutines sont très petites, à peine du fromage en grain dedans, les hots dogs sont bons mais à ce prix là, pour les portions données je n'irai plus jamais malheureusement ! Services & ambiance très bonne donc dommage !!
Il y'a du choix entre hamburger simple & succulent & les plus élaborés. Délicieuse poutine. Les frites sont très bien assaisonnées chez Tousignant & les sodas maisons sont vraiment bon.

I came here to try the poutine on a Friday night. The place was decently busy but there was no lineup. We were a group of 3 & found space without any issues. The poutine was good but i thought the sauce was a little too sweet for my liking. Portion was on the smaller side but nothing offensive. The cheese was very fresh & super squeaky, I just wish the curds were a bit bigger. I'm glad I tried it but unfortunately not a place I'd come back to. They do make their own sodas which was really neat. We had the cherry Cola, the root beer & the cream soda. I had the cherry Cola & it was good but a bit too syrupy.
66$ pour deux poutines ordinaires, trois hot-dogs, un chese-burger & deux boissons gazeuses... C'est du vol pur & simple! Les poutines étaient "mangeables", sans plus & le chese-burger était assez bon... Le décor vintage est très agréable, cependant! Le personnel est aimable... Je suis content de l'avoir essayé mais je n'y retournerai pas.
