The best poutine I've ever eaten in my life.
It has a perfect balance of what a poutine should taste like. Not to mention that their fries are fried in tallow so a super healthy alternative to regular oil 😍!!!
This place is a gem & I hope they keep going for many years to come.
The only thing is that I wasn't able to receive a confirmation whether their poutine is gluten free. I know their fries have dedicated fryers but what about the sauce? I'd love to know for sure since my daughter has celiac & would love to try your poutine one day too.

The best fries & hotdogs joint in Montreal... if not, the World!!! I've been going there for more than 45 for years, always the same great taste, when you are looking for a great hot dog & fries combo, this is the place to go!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The reason I'm writing this review is because Dora deleted my comment on Instagram. The employees do not respect the food safety laws in place by the mapaq. I found a dime in my poutine…. Yes a shiny 10cent dime. It sucks because shopsys hot dogs are the best in Canada in my opinion. I know a lot of people are going to be upset by this review saying it's a greasy spoon & that's how it's supposed to be. I'd like to enjoy my poutine without having to go to the dentist for a broken tooth thank you. I also do not want food poisoning. Choose wisely Montreal.

Le hot-dog all dressed de Chez Ma Tante est un classique! Généreusement garni.
La poutine a des frites savoureuses & sucrées. La sauce est bien mais le fromage est moins frais qu'avant, semble plutôt du fromage réfrigéré & manque un peu de goût.
Les prix ont vraiment beaucoup augmenté mais c'est un peu partout pareil, alors ça demeure acceptable.
L'autre problème de ce petit casse-croûte est l'impossibilité de manger assis sur place durant l'hiver . Il y a un petit comptoir élevé où l'on peut manger debout, sans aucun banc.
L'été, ce problème ne se pose pas puisque Ma Tante dispose alors des tables à picnic à l'extérieur.
Un service client extrêmement professionnel, un personnel de qualité & une cuisine exceptionnelle, je suis particulièrement impressionné par la pise en charge d'Adam, il est toujours souriant & très courtois, il connaît même ma commande par coeur. Je vous recommande ce fast-food vous ne serez pas déçu ...
Super petit snack à hot-dogs... Moi-même Montréalais, je ne connaissais pas ça du tout, même en étant né juste à côté... à découvrir ! Je dois remercier ma douce princesse- pour ce beau moment !

Une des meilleures poutine que j'ai mangé. Le fromage fait squish squish & la sauce à un petit goût sucré qui adhère bien aux frites.
Absolument delicious fast food excellent quick service same great taste every time .. never disappointed 🩷
Chez Ma Tante only gets better with time.
They've mastered the perfect balance of honouring their traditional favourites while continuously introducing fresh, innovative options. Their mobile cart is an outstanding addition-beautifully presented, efficient, & a huge hit with guests. We recently had them cater an event of 400 people, & the feedback was exceptional.
We'll definitely be booking them again, & I highly recommend you do the same.
