In Paris, there is "the Mecca" of literary and artistic life named «Café de Flore». Once, this café was the designated rendez-vous place of existentialists, such as Jean-Paul Sartre. Still today, prevails this groovy and liberty atmosphere. We had not planned to recreate "Le Flore" in this place, so we have created «Le Petit Flore». Just like in Paris, we do our utmost to welcome you in a groovy atmosphere and offer you the quality you are seeking for.

Cela faisait plusieurs années que je n'étais pas retournée au Café Le Petit Flore sur la rue Fleury. J'ai retrouvé une cuisine française raffinée, avec un menu toujours intéressant. Le plat que j'ai choisi était excellent & le service a été impeccable; notre serveuse était attentionnée & très professionnelle.
Mon seul véritable bémol concerne le niveau de bruit à l'intérieur. Lorsque le restaurant est plein, l'ambiance devient assez bruyante. Pour moi, c'est un point négatif, surtout lorsqu'on souhaite passer un bon moment à discuter avec une amie qu'on n'a pas vue depuis longtemps. En revanche, pour un lunch d'affaires ou un repas où les conversations sont plus courtes, cela me semble moins dérangeant.
Dans l'ensemble, j'y ai passé un très bon moment grâce à la qualité de la cuisine & de l'excellent service.
On a passé une super belle soirée en amoureux au café le petit flore. Nourriture très bonne, portion de bonne quantité, en terrasse, très bon service. O!n y retournera avec plaisir !
My first 30 minutes at le petit flore where amazing, the rest not so much. Our first waiter was friendly & knowledgeable about their wines, we ordered the platter to share with suggestions of wine pairings. When the food came it was exquisite much like the wine. That's the end of my positive experience. We were pretty much ignored from then on, my wine glass was empty for a solid 20 minutes before someone else came to see us, the new waitress was cold & it felt like we were bothering her. It's not like the resto was full or that a large group was taking the attention… It would have been nice to at least be told of the shift change & at a minimum get a single refill within a reasonable time. I am not expecting Michelin level service but it was definitely subpar & we won't be returning.

Le Petit Flore porte bien son nom, rappelant le charme du célèbre Café de Flore parisien. Ils parviennent à maintenir une cuisine très réussie, même pour des plats simples comme les hamburgers, qui sont savoureux du début à la fin. L'expérience est sublimée par des cafés de qualité & une excellente sélection de vins, qui complète parfaitement une carte à la fois accessible & travaillée.
L'ambiance est particulièrement chaleureuse, rappelant cette atmosphère typique des grands cafés où l'on aime prendre son temps. Que ce soit pour une pause gourmande ou un repas prolongé, le service y est toujours attentionné & le rapport qualité-prix est exemplaire. Une adresse incontournable qui réussit avec brio le pari de l'élégance décontractée.
Petite visite au moment du diner. J'ai été ignorée par le service pendant plus de 15 minutes avant de décider de partir. Une serveuse finalement très sympa me propose de rester en contre partie d'un service plus réactif & rapide. Elle s'excuse & je trouve ça très pro de sa part. Je commande un burger boeuf que je regrette instantanément étant donné l'odeur forte de la viande ainsi que de la sauce fromagère.
J'ai eu une première expérience plus agréable quelques semaines auparavant mais là clairement c'était pas du tout à la hauteur. Mon plat est retourné presque au complet. La serveuse très sympa a décidé de faire un geste sur la boisson. Mais je ne recommande vraiment pas la cuisine est très mediocre. Je ne retournerai pas. Une cliente qui travaille à côté de perdue.
Petite terasse si vous voulez prendre un petit café verre bruncher ou manger la nourriture est de qualité vraiment. En gros un bon coin tranquille où on mange une nourriture de qualité. Je recommande fortement.
Stopped by Cafe Le Petit Flore for the first time & was pleasantly surprised. The vibe was great, the food was fresh, & the whole place had a warm, cozy atmosphere. I especially liked how friendly & welcoming everyone was from the moment I walked in.
I ordered my meal, & all were excellent. You can tell they pay attention to quality & presentation.
What I enjoyed most was the atmosphere. It's the kind of cafe where you can comfortably sit for a while, whether you're meeting friends, reading a book, or just taking a break from a busy day. The space feels relaxed & inviting without being too crowded or noisy.
Overall, I had a great experience & can see why this place is so popular with locals. I'll definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu. Highly recommended if you're looking for a charming place in Montreal.
